Is it dangerous to play paranormal games?
I’m talking like Midnight Man, Daruma-san fell down, the elevator game, hide and seek alone, etc?

>playing hide and seek alone

So that's what happens to those missing kids.
>>
>For those who don't know, the gist of the Midnight Man game is that you write your name on a piece of paper, put some drops of your blood on it, light a big candle and then put them both in front of your (wooden) door.
>As the time nears midnight, you knock on your own front door, 22 times. The 22nd knock has to be at the stroke of midnight, then you blow the candle out and relight it.
>Doing this is said to invite the Midnight Man into your home, where you must walk around in complete darkness with the candle as your source of light. If the candle goes out, it means he's near, and you have to light your candle within ten seconds OR make a circle around yourself in salt and stay inside of it. Other things that can happen are the room can go cold, you could hear a whisper, or even see a humanoid figure as you're walking around.
>This continues until 3:33am, whereupon if you've done everything correctly, you have won the game. If you lose, there are threats of insanity or even death.
>There is no way to end the game prematurely. If summoned the midnight man stays in your home until 3:33AM and you must do everything in your power to avoid being killed by him.

This website happens to have a lot of these kinds of games.

Most of these games are demon summoning occult magick disguised as childish fun.
Daruma is an ancient Sumerian demon and Midnight Man is basically summoning a demon with blood magick.
>>

I don’t believe that demons can truly ever be exorcised. Once you invite one into your home it’s pretty much stuck to you for life.
>>

Demons are not real and the only danger from these games is hurting yourself while doing their dumbass rituals.
>>
>>42047269
Daruma is not Sumerian, it's a japanese doll based on the Bodhidharma
>>

The best part about this game is that there is literally no benefit to winning except bragging rights for something no one will believe you about anyway.
>>
but who will scare the crows away?
>>
>>42047236
For most people. But I have seen one person, ONLY one person was able to play around with it and mocking the ghosts behind it.
>>
>>42047269
Daruma is a buddhist monk, retard
>>
>>42049047
Daruma is a Japanese rendering of the Sanskrit word dharma.

He doesn't give you a wish or anything?

Dharma is just the order of the universe. That's not a demon or a Sumerian god. By your explanation, the game Daruma-san fell down is just about following the natural order of the world and getting repercussions for not doing so. Also, it shouldn't be in the same group as Midnight Man or the Elevator Game because it's used in children's classrooms in Japan. It's like saying Duck, Duck, Goose is actually an ancient summoning ritual for an ancient diety (well maybe it is).

You know... What if... Instead of a "Midnight Man", we change it for a "Midnight Girl"? (Like that woman from The Ring) Or any other creature? This sounds like a nice template for an entity summoning ritual, and it can be a blast to experience.

oh shit you opened the can now. there's already been memes of notably aggressive geese, and the phrase "silly geese", and gooses that lay golden eggs, and the human incarnation of scrooge mcduck prefers geese, and honk honk clownworld...

It's only a piece of paper. You can reeplace the blood with red marker. You can try it out. You can also do mirror gazing in a dark room using candle light to get a taste from some hipnagogic imagery as well (which also can serve for rituals of any kind as it serves to get you in a state of trance). The key here is the intent of making the entity appear, which can be done in any way, but the enviromental constrains, and the "game" here helps to "flow trought the motions". Tho, i won't agree to die if you "lose" if i were you and you went for it.

Yes, an indian-chinese monk named Boddhidarma adapted as Daruma-san in Japanese, nothing to do with sumerian
