>>42049184Phasmophobia. You play the role of a ghost hunting team sent into a haunted house and you need to provide evidence that the house is haunted. Depending on the difficulty, you get more or less clues. There's like 20 possible types of ghosts it can be, and through the clues, have to narrow it down and guess it right. It's really fun. Made for online play but perfectly possible to play on single player, too.

>>42049184Expedition 33, Doom 2 with mods, World of Horror, Binding of Isaac Repentance, Miside (this one is fantastic), Dredge. I could list 100s but these are all must plays if you haven't. Very strong distinct vibe or atmosphere. Doom 2 with certain mods and maps is still the most atmospheric game there is imo. Especially when you get into stuff like myhouse and ashes. There are too many amazing maps and mods to list there are 1000s.
>>42050555The magical elements were poorly integrated and motivated. Like when you're fighting the ghost in the graveyard. Nothing up till then in the game indicated that it was a world in which such things were possible, it's just plonked in there.
