>Be me>10 years old, unrestricted internet access>See Happy Tree Friends>Think it's the funniest shit ever>Get bored of it in about a day>Forget about it completely>Look at it more than a decade later>Painfully unfunny, pathetically obvious Luciferian psyop>No actual humor whatsoever, all "jokes" are just explicit gore, death, sadism, and suffering>Deliberately presented in the style of children's media>Engineered to require minimal verbal skills to comprehend the plot as most action is visual>Color palette as well as visual design is extremely saturated, kitsch, incredibly flashy and attention grabbing>Liturgically associates childlike joy with agony in an almost Pavlovian manner>Was created well before hair-trigger demonetization, age-gating, and deboosting>Was easily accessible to young children and also quite popular on YouTube IIRC>Predates the Elsagate debacle by over a decade>Was created in an era when there was much less scrutiny applied to online content>Name of parent company which produced it is "Six Point Harness">Their logo is completely red and has a seatbelt buckle resembling a demon tail and/or penis poking through the middle of the "6"What if the violent edgy flash animation(s) of the early 2000s really were straight up produced by metaphysical forces of evil?

>>42050155>What if the violent edgy flash animation(s) of the early 2000s really were straight up produced by metaphysical forces of evil? That's hollywood in a nutshell. IIRC, this came out in that time period where shows like super jail and another one I can't remember where popular. Mindless, gore death, with a touch of weird shit. I watched a few episodes, couldn't get into the fast paced, mindless violence. IMO that's only for videogames. T.V/film should have a good plot.
>>42050155millenials were edgy
Grow up. We were watching Bme pain Olympics & 3 guys one hammer or whatever the fuck in like 7th grade
>>42050260this. it was the cleaner version of frog in a blender type shit.still i found it obnoxious and i liked invader zim and mindless self indulgence
I wouldn't go as far as to say it was a psyop, but it definitely reflects something in mans psyche that is bad, maybe evil. One just needs to ask oneself, why do I enjoy seeing cute and innocent things suffer and die? Consider the outrage one feels (hopefully) about children being hurt on Epstein's island, and ask oneself, why are you basically enjoying an imitation of it? I think it isn't necessarily bad to indulge violence in fiction, it can be good when it depicts good vs evil or something like that. But really what's the point of something like happy tree friends?
>>42050285Brak show, ren and stimpy, invader zim, whitest kids you know we had some good shit growing up
happy wheels
>>42050293>but it definitely reflects something in mans psyche that is bad, maybe evil.you're an idiot. the only thing it reflects is the unbroken monopoly of mainstream media at that time and the resulting fascination of audiences with anything outside the boundaries set by the tv elites. similarly the simpsons were once seen as transgressive.
>>42050293you forgot about baby smurf, fluffy ponies, the weird fandom of "sonees & roseys" (sonichu comics) - and the OG that all of these stem from....i'll let you take a guess.
>>42050347you think its going to swing back? like are we going to have morally acceptable media pushed?
>>42050347ANYTHING outside the boundary set by elites? So if they showed literal cheese pizza, would it receive the same ratings? I don't mean to misinterpret you, it isn't that I believe you'd say yes, but why exactly does the public allow for this particular boundary in happy tree friends to be broken but not more extreme ones? It clearly isn't that they were fascinated by breaking "anything" outside the boundaries. The simpsons isn't remotely close because there's a sense of intelligence and wit to it that isn't present in happy tree friends, unless you can point it out to me. Chestertons fence
>>42050363>So if they showed literal cheese pizza, would it receive the same ratings? The same reception*, I should say/add*
>>42050357actually, my introduction to cute aggression was this old poll website called "who would you kill?" regarding fictional characters.the smurf poll stood out. guess who was the extreme #1 of all time, no contest. the comments section would often contain jokes or rants about how annoying a charaacter was, but a particular smurf got tons of lengthy, in-depth "fanfiction" that often got into psychological torment. especially being demolished by parental figures.
>>42050270>I used me magical glowing brick, which literally did not exist for the majority of human civilization as we know it, and when turned off resembles a dark pool of water that has been enchanted, which in order to function at all requires an invisible fluid to run through a stone manufactured by carving sigils into sand with an artificial ray of light powerful enough to penetrate metal, that afterwards must be impregnated with human programming language instructions in order to operate semi-autonomously, to tap into a global communication system passively operated by other runic stones, so I could view highly grotesque depictions of sodomy and point blank sexual torture since the 7th gradeFriendo, you're just proving my point. The internet itself seems to me to be constitutionally evil, perhaps (as far as I can tell) from its very inception. If you think any of that would be considered normal for 99% of human history then you're completely delusional, and if you think that our generation has "transcended" the need to grapple with basic social norms then you're even more cooked than I initially conceived.
>>42050392the internet used to be a mirror of society, but now there are too many heavy hands on the weights.
even as a 13 year old I knew happy tree friends from fucked up garbage. Tons of cartoons on cartoon network were also following the trend of "Torture Porn" like billy and mandy and aqua teen hunger force which I found disgusting
>>42050260this. I love conspiracies, I 1000% believe the world is run by satanic jews, but there's nothing deep about HTF. it was made in a time where irony and "sooo random :DD" humor was king. the joke is that it looks super childish and innocent but is actually extremely violent. that's it. plus this is at the height of emo culture; we were all just edgy. I mean hell, look at the games that came out around that time. even POKEMON was edgy.
>>42050155>a long greentext full of christian pearl clutching slopnice job retard
>>42050628I dont think you understand the developmental process of the human mind and why it's important to know the shit thats entering your child's brain. Not just that, but properly understanding that everything we process through our senses has the potential to influence us in ways that most aren't aware of. And without being aware of it, don't understand the importance of knowing how to defend yourself from these things.
It is our generation's tun tun sahur and cocomelon, garbage to brainwash kids with project monarch content
>>42050634OP here. I am IRL Jewish BTW, not Christian. Not that you'd care, probably, as I assume you are a Reddit atheist and cannot conceive of people who do not fit into strictly defined cultural stereotypes. If you wonder why I would take exception to the number "6", actually, it's viewed negatively in Judaism as well. If you looked closely at the Star of David, for example, you'd notice that it actually has seven internally enclosed components if you count the central hexagon along with the triangles. A satanic pentagram, on the other hand, has six internally enclosed components, counting the central pentagon and the surrounding triangles.6 = the six days of work = the 6000 years necessary for the Messiah to appear. 7 = the holy sabbath day where work is prohibited = the coming of the Messiah, the resurrection of the dead, the vanquishing of evil from the earth, and the end of suffering and death. If someone wanted to create a company alluding to profoundly evil ideals, then the number 6 would be a very good choice for doing that. And I don't think it would be actual Jews doing it, either.
>>42050155It's an edgy joke cartoon, nothing more. It's like saying you got brainwashed by cartoon parodies.Another day, another zoomzoom getting their panties in a twist over fictional media
>>42050927i really dig the general gist of the op, and since you bring up 2000's era flash cartoons, do you have any thoughts to share about newgrounds, edgelord stuff, trends, observations on this golden age of 15 year olds cracking macromedia flash on a school computer?
>>42050293People don't enjoy it constantly. At least normal people don't. They enjoy it as edgy teens or when they need some entertainment to blow off steam and relax. Most people watch it once and are done with it. If you come back to it over and over like you do with porn then you have a problem, but most people don't do that.
Once again, normies simply do not understand satire.
>>42051289>If you come back to it over and over like you do with porn then you have a problem, but most people don't do that.A good portion of people's problems with media are actually just their own neuroses/problems. You see this a lot with "porn addiction", more often than not it's an external problem, like a dead bedroom or loneliness or sexual trauma. Most people just spank it and then go about their day, which would be impossible to do if it's super addictive
>>42051758It's just a natural bodily function that men have. The stuff needs to come out one way or another. I don't think it's that harmful to use a piece of media for that if it doesn't become excessive. Violent media is a different story though
