I had an incredibly vivid and unsettling dream that felt more like a memory. I found myself in a tourist region that felt like either Asia or Middle East. A place of high elevation, dominated by massive, modern buildings overlooking a vast ocean. My father was there, which is odd because he passed away many years ago. My brother was leading the way, and we were all climbing a long set of outdoor stairs. As I looked out toward the horizon, I saw something terrifying, it looked as if floor of the ocean had collapsed. Within seconds, churning brown water began rushing inland, flooding the lower ground with massive force. Panic set in. We scrambled into a large high-rise at the top of the stairs, a hotel or a business tower? We began a desperate climb to the top on the stairwell. My brother, raced far ahead, leaving me to stay with my father. When we finally reached the top floor, someone tried to block our path, telling us we couldn't go any further. I told them to look out the window. As we all looked, the sight was apocalyptic. A "great flood" of thick, brown water had completely overtaken the land, stretching as far as the eye could see. I could see in the distance emergency vehicles trying to navigate the submerged roads, only to be swept away by the water. In that moment, I felt a certain realization, this was the end of the world.
>>42050455i've had plenty of tsunami dreams, it a real fear as a person would lives near the coast
>>42050455I have to ask this:why did you think the floor of the ocean had collapsed if water was flowing out of the ocean? Wouldn't that make the water rush away from the shore?
my end of world dreams look kinda similar, there's earthquakes and you can see how everything collapses, it feels as if reality itself disintegrates, like sand. But I've also dreamed with alien invasion, demonic invasion, etc. Sometimes dreams are just fragments of pop culture, but those vivid and unsettling ones make you think.
