I was thinking it the other day that my mother used to do tea leaf reading and was actually accurate 100% to about a period of 2 - 3 years into the future at most.
I thought I would look up about it and found a thread about it on plebbit wiccan sub. But they went on about runes or patterns by the tea leaves or some shit which was not at all what my mother did.
Does anyone else here ever knew somebody that could do like tea readings, palm readings etc and be 100% full on right?
For my mother, you would drink your tea in a tea cup with leaves while thinking about shit, then once last amount was drank you would leave it alone. Some minutes later my mum would just stare into the bottom of the cup and make these predictions. There were never any probing questions asked, but she would best describe what was possible to describe if she couldn't understand the context. Other times she would outright say a prediction of a future event.
She got called a witch in an endearing way to the tiny country town I grew up in because she outed some woman cheating in their circle when doing tea leaf readings for them for the first time lol.
Every prediction she made for me all happened, as it did with her friends she did it for too. She had to stop a bit as some people took it too seriously and creeped her out.
I asked her as a teen to tell me how she does it and I would try but never worked. She said she just looks at the leaves with a blank mind and images and phrases enter her consciousness that she can clearly see like its a tv show.
Anyone else had similar experiences? I asked dad about it he said he never believed in that nonsense before meeting her but what he experienced with her made him shit scared. Mum could also tell you how many children you will have (male or female), their sexes any twins including miscarriages/still births.
Another famous psychic read mums tarot cards on tape and said she would die at a specific age of cancer... she did.
