What does this board think of Terrence McKenna? His final interview has been gaining a resurgence of popularity recently, I'm not awfully familiar with him but he seems like an interesting guy. Did he have any real insights into the metaphysical or was he just another hippy who got high and thought he discovered some unknown truth?

But he was out of touch financially, in one of his books he proposed a few actions we could take to improve the planet, he proposed legalising weed and raising the prices 300% to fund public and education services, but most stoners I know would not be able to afford to smoke at those prices which would leave place for the black market to still carry on. His advice how to take certain drugs to achieve the best possible results certainly helped me as a 12 year old so I'm grateful for that I will add that there is and has always been speculation that he was at one point involved with the CIA but I've personally never looked into it to find out
