Really starting to feel like there's a wall between God and I. I've been pleading for a sign or a nudge or something to tell me what He wants me to be doing. I still can't seem to write and now I've more than likely wasted money on musical stuff because I thought I felt a pull in that direction when I stumbled across an actually working acoustic/electric guitar at a Christian run second hand store right around the time that I felt an odd urge to ask my friend (who helped convert me) for some information about a drum machine, since he's a musician. I tried making a piece of wall art for the church I've been attending so I could donate it to them but it turned out looking kind of crappy and misproportioned. Really starting to believe that God just wants me to be a failure and achieve nothing, not even enjoy my hobbies.

Have you guys ever focused on how does it FEEL to believe/know God exists? My meditation/prayer after reading The Gospel of St John dragged me into a strange transcend state when God's existence was clear to me just like the feeling of sitting on a chair or smelling cheese or hearing sounds feels like. It's like a part of my nervous system learned to feel God who just exists. My whole life the idea of God was rather logically explainable and in my "head cannon" He was somewhere else and I was to decide if he exists or not based on external inputs I was consuming from reality. Now it feels like the opposite like I can see another layer. Is this what people call faith or I'm developing mental illness?
