Worth a watch?
>>
>>42081157
It's so good, why everyone talks about Lain, I'll never know.
>>
>>42081157

I know it is you Spideranon.

I like the opening, but never watched it. I vibe more with Boogiepop Phantom.
>>
>>42081157
I've seen those symbols before. Very good indeed.
>>

both haibane and texh are so much better than lain, i have no idea why lain is talked about so much about, maybe because its ''lightweight'' techno-gnosticism and normies tend to like that, like the matrix movies

im not him but i took the initial picture from him, then i applied my own analysis of it through astrology and some philosophy, im still trying to understand what is the esoterics of obelisks in real life, other than it being an obvious symbol of penetrative masculine which resembles a little the horn of an unicorn. still i have no idea, like i feel theres something about obelisks that i cant find, even in masonic sites

Get off 4chan and go do your schoolwork.
This is your uncle.
You are the only Texhnolyze poster on the East Coast.
Yes. Go be constructive, nephew.

ive not, but ive heard about it, tho not anything detailed. ive been thinking about watching utena after seeing someone drawing some the animes parallels to rosicrucianism... but ill keep boogiepop phantom in mind if it is your favourite anime anon! if you want to tell me any kind esoteric theme or element that is in the anime, ill be glad to hear about it

Nigga just put some random symbols all over some screenshots, what the fuck is wrong with some of you guys
Why are you so mentally ill

Incredibly boring. Satoshi Kon's work is very overrated overall. Lain is good, but still impenetrable. Not as impenetrable as texhnolyze though. Paranoia agent is also overrated. Paprika was good, but only if you actually get what kind of cultural commentary it is. Which means white americans literally can't get it, and shouldn't watch it at all.

They are maneaters named manticores or something. Honestly I have not seen much of it, but I really love the vibes, I knew it has to have a good bit of symbolism in it.

>>42089636

>Satoshi Kon's work is very overrated overall.

Kon did not make Lain or Texhnolyze or Haibane.

This wasn't by Satoshi Kon, nor was Lain

sure my fren

texhnolyze is hegels golgotha gone wrong, or the awry darkened rubedo of an alchemical solve et coagula. the plutonian-saturnian entities that have been molding inside-out from unseen dark waters above (nocturnal-sol) have decided to externalize (turned martinal) by imposing uranian texhnolyzation as a totalitarian measure for ''evolution,'' replacing bodies for overtly fixed machines (shapes) that later petrifies. in the process, the receptive, upside-down tree lunar-mercurial entity (ran) which is the soul-spirit of the city gets taken over, shes turned outside-in (crystalized) after the eclipsed (death of) jupiterian-solar descent of a figure (yoshii) trying to bring about the liberation of her and the city (lux.) for she dies in body, the city then becomes the entombment of men, represented by the obelisk, being the corpus of the pyramid (citys geometry.) the city turns from tree into monument which is then sacrificed as a second death in the erasing of volatility (by the piercing of her mercurial aspect which is the citys spectrum and prismatic voice) carried out by her loyal protegee and listener (oonishi) who out of mercy delivered her by sword striking the soul-entrapped stone (obelisk.) the end is then the act of a neptunian dissolutive figure (ichise) mirroring the martinal action of the plutonian-saturnian entity (kano) by striking his head out in a punch, finally culminating into the leaden stillness of the citys nigredos saturnian stasis.

the surface city is, in contrast, to the underworld lux, purely spectral. the city is mercurial-lunar, slightly fiery for dryness and consuming stagnancy. while they still live on in such form, the state of the city is stale, dry, and without any grounding for volatility to act on. the lack of an earthly (and watery) polarity needed for the transmutation through elemental union with the citys stand-alone airy existence (called dominant genes) is represented in the citys mini-sized obelisk, which is the citys lack of an horizontal body to tower over. the obelisk is placed inside a government building. that display of privacy by the obelisk being hidden and inside a public building, instead of outside, can be considered as an act of contraction and centredness around the spirit at the civil-state level, with its spectral people being the spectrum itself and the obelisk an outward projection prism. the cast of a shadow, which is the primary function of an obelisk for sundials, timekeeping, and providing direction at distance is of no use there either, for there is no body and therefore no time. the place isnt as lifeless as it is deathlessness. the sun is constant, but there is no body to work it. the green is ironic, or so, the lion isnt there to transmutate such energy. the lack of embodiment reflects the circular sublimation wherein the next step does not take place, and so does the mini-sized obelisk. the recorded past, which is carved in the ground, is lacking, and so there is no concrete ''in'' history, for there is no legacy, past or future, so does the obelisk have no buildup or vertical expansion, which means no horizontal dominance then, for the citizens of the surface are already in a kind of ''digital heaven'' or so the obelisk does not need to touch the transcendental one.

Pretentious, boring, bleak, philosophical. But that's just my honest opinion, no offense if you guys do happen to like it yourselves. I just don't see anything worth of note within it. Same thing with Serial Experiment Lain, I just like the artwork and style but not the actual substance unfortunately.
