I am talking about what does spirituality or occult teachings say about traveling to/seeing the past or future. Not in the sci-fi way, but as a spiritual practice.
>>42082328Maybe
>>42082329I barely heard about people talking about time travel through spirituality and is weird when there are things like the Kalachakra around.
>>42082328>>42082333yes it's possible, however by the time you can do it you'd be enlightened enough that you don't care anymore.
>>42082445The reason I want to be able to master time is because that would allow me to master other abilities.
>>42082469such as ?
Seeing the past and future is a basic thing for psychics. Being able to manipulate it would be next level.
>>42082328Yeah. Get a dream journal and learn about all the myths, symbols, gods.
>>42082611There are many. Like for example the basics like clairvoyance, later would come general mastery of occult abilities like shapeshifting, etc.
>>42082748>furry
>>42082754With shapeshifting I meant changing your human appearance or turning into different things, why did you think I was talking about furry specifically?
>>42082328You can try stuff like >>42082639 and other generic practices. There are also larpa like the chronovisor owned the Vatican. For a more detailed account the only serious effort to do this that I know of was An Experiment with Time by J. W. Dunne. It’s mostly forgotten about now but it was very popular in the 1920s and 30s.
>>42082748Behold the larper derailer trying to turn a simple OP subject into a massive web of bullshit >shapeshiftingJust stay on topic bro. Why you got to try and link every fucking thing together. Contain your larping.
>>42082754>Projecting
>>42082748>basics like clairvoyanceyou don't need time travel abilities for that>later would come general mastery of occult abilities like shapeshiftingunrelated skill
>>42082776Somewhere I heard that certain meditation practices could return you to past moments. I suppose they are pretty advanced thought. The problem with the topic of time travel is that there is barely records of it happening, even less in this specific way.
>>42082328Take a look at this: https://imgur.com/a/stop-time-by-l-arklinski-zFM7kzSThe reason why this is possible (just as everything really) is because Time-Space are aspects of your experience, but all experience has "no depth", just like a dream, even if it feels solid at first; this world, including all time and space, arises within the consciousness that you are. Everything about doing magick and all these sort of practices in general will led you down the line to recognize the idea of the world surrounding you being a mental structure, where everything arises trough intention (either knowingly or not). So, in your practices you dedicate to make something like this happen, identify yourself with the 1st person perspective background from which the world arises, from which time itself arises, and with light assertion, intent the time to "slow down". Generally this happens even without us noticing, just in more mundane ways, like when you lose notion of time passing when you feel cheerful emotions, or when time see to go more slow than ever when you feel stressed, etc.
>>42082328You cannot change the past You can see the past and the possible futures which you decide between
yeah sure why not
>>42082328It's possible and lots of schizos go through it, I don't know how to control it but I know certain people who have provably done it. I've met people who claim to know me from the future and could tell me all about my own life.
>>42083610Really? Please continue.
>>42083474>>42083526The duality of anons. >>42083610Larper.
>>42083474There are multiple pasts that led to this present just as there are multiple futures that derive from it. It is basic high school physics. You can choose the past the same way you choose the future (by feeling).
>>42083474Why would changing the past be such a cornerstone in what spirituality or people generally can do? Almost all movies that go about the topic say that you either can't or shouldn't. I wonder where this idea comes from.
