Sounds like a mixture of a deep meditative state and visualization exerciseThere are various ways to work on your visualization skills. Learning Reiki was probably the best way for me to learn my visualization skills. usually it works by meditation. a good practice for visualization is that you sit still eyes closed. you visualize the light you are breathing in being a bright blue. think about you pulling in that energy into your body. following this you convert the blue energy that you visualized into your body by converting that brilliant blue to a vibrant orange. when you breathe visualize that vibrant orange color flowing out in the room.Keep doing this until you feel like you are getting a good reaction. after you develop some visualization skills. i presume you just get into a nice deep meditative state and start projecting. oh the places you can go in all while remaining completely still. when you get really good at visualization skills you may be able to transfer your thoughts to other people willing to accept this. this is often how reiki works, you do not touch the person, but you create these powerful visualizations within your own mind and use it to heal other people.
