I think we all come from the same source and connected thru the source, meaning we're all one and the same. If this is the case, which is the overwhelmingly majority spiritual human view, then in a way, subconsciously, we don't want to be enlightened. I think once we're all aware then the game is over. Ignorance is bliss. The reason this reality/simulation exists is for the creator to create as that's what his job is. The other reason is that we are learning and growing our overall human consciousness with every life we live. We as the creator are exploring our divine self.
