So travis walton, the dude that got abducted in the woods after doing some logging with his coworkers and dissapeared for a while, the guy whose abduction inspired the Fire In The Sky movie, His brother revealed on his deathbed that the whole abduction was a hoax.

OP what made you talk about the waltons? I had a strange dream that they abducted me out of my bedroom and took my socks, but they were like in their 20s in my dream.
>>
>>42140636
a video about them hoaxing the abduction showed up on my suggested videos on youtube so i made a thread about them.
>>
>>42140663
i wonder why i dreamt about them abducting me without that appearing in my feed, what if they are in fact the aliens and they are the one abducting people.
>>
>>42140663
there was a time when 4chan was the source of most content on the normie internet. now we're making threads out of youtube algorithm recommendations. dear lord
>>
>>42140679
maybe it's just that someone is stealing your socks and they just coincidentally happened to be the people in your dream.
maybe it was sock gnomes.
>>
>>42140719
it was only a 1 time thing and it only happened inside the dream. 1 of 2 things I can think of, possibility that they did abduct me in another time line and my dream is me remembering, or its just a dream and i'm looking too much into it. I just think its strange though that I had that dream only 2 nights ago though and then see this thread today, it just doesn't seem likely to be just a dream.

>Vetted
My fuckin nigga. Love the guy. But yes, I'm 99.9% certain that this is actually true. Why mention this shit being fake all these years later? i know it sucks but.. I think this is def true, ong.

i wonder how they created a ufo to stage an abduction.
>>
>>42142058
You don’t need to create a UFO if you’re lying through your teeth, dumbass.
>>
>>42142058
I don't understand. The people who saw the UFO lied.
>>
I think the people who are denying the fact that it was a hoax is completely toxic to the UFO community, i'm being deadass here.
>>
>>42142071
>>42142076
so there was no UFO?
oh okay, i thought they somehow faked there being a UFO
>>
>>42140047
Got better proof
I ain't clicking that
>>
>>42140047
If you watch fire in the sky there is a Dodge truck in the film that is missing a letter spelling "DO GE" in the standard decals...also in the real investigations, a sheriff's deputy named Kenneth Coplan was a part of the case early on...If the name sounds familiar...there you go...
>>
>>42140047
>His brother revealed on his deathbed that the whole abduction was a hoax.

It wasn't at his deathbed.
All people that knew Travis learned it was a hoax eventually.
It's actually the most laughable abduction story when you get the facts. Despite the good staging and 1 accomplice.

He wanted to win a newspaper prize and get out of the botched logging deal lol and this was his chance for something he always wanted to do: an UFO hoax.
>>
>>42142087
>think the people who are denying the fact that it was a hoax is completely toxic to the UFO community, i'm being deadass here.

That's most people in the Ufo community and that's a fact.
They don't give a flying fuck about the truth. Probably why most serious people leave UFO stuff and never look behind. It's the same bullshit over and over, profitable bullshit.
>>
>>42143537
>They don't give a flying fuck about the truth.
theyre all so fucking DESPERATE for a savior, a messiah, a holy man prophet to lead them to the space brothers, THEY WILL FOLOW ANYONE NO MATTER HOW BIG A FRAUD.
>>
>>42143537
The UFO Community lost a lot of credibility when they started a cargo cult clinging to the Extraterrestrial Hypothesis as a core tenet as some retarded compromise between materialistic scientism and Forteans who saw the phenomenon for the metaphysical strangeness it truly was.
>>
>>42141833
So what did he see?
>>
>>42143564
UFO community never had any credibility to begin with, you're coping.
>>
As I said, all UFO stories eventually turn out something like this. Why believe? If anything this all should make you reevaluate what is info you can trust. To demand real evidence. A lot of people have grown tired of the endless empty words.
>>
>>42141833
I'm more surprised that people really believed it was fucking aliens lmao.
>>
>>42140047
Yeah, Aliens don't have tables and chairs in their UFOs. His description always seemed very 70s sci-fi to me.
>>
>>42141833
So he did see something
>>
>>42140047
>the whole abduction was a hoax.
Sounds about right
>>
>>42140058
Evidence it ever happened?
None.
Case dismissed
>>
>>42140047
Travis Walton's brother is Duane, and no, there wasn't information regarding this being a hoax. OP is a normie faggot that watches normie social media and can't be bothered to do even basic research about the complete bullshit he's watching.
>>
>>42141833
Steve Pierce was part of the crew that saw the initial lights. He was always skeptical about the veracity of the story, possibly because he was viewed as a suspect in Walton's disappearance. This is really old news. Pierce spoke out as early as 1978. Mike Rogers only decided to speak out after he was cut out of movie development royalties. Regardless, he didn't speak out for the better part of 50 years until there was money involved.
>>
>>42146532
>Evidence it ever happened?
Multiple eye witness that saw the UFO and the light that illuminated Travis Walton. The witnesses then left the scene. Police investigated the incident and the area thoroughly for about a week until Walton re-appeared. There is some evidence and police did investigate the incident.
>>
>>42142058
>i wonder how they created a ufo to stage an abduction.
Steve Pierce purported that a forest watchtower and a spotlight were used to illuminate Walton prior to his abduction. I would think if 6 people saw this, some of them would have put this together. The only witnesses that questioned whether it may be real or not were Steve Pierce (who has waivered on this over the years) and Mike Rogers, who only spoke out after he was cut out of movie development money by Walton in 2021.
>>
>>42143564
>The UFO Community lost a lot of credibility
What's even more odd is that in recent years there has been an effort to gatekeep the UFO community and Walton's case, in particular, after he was on Rogan. Walton's case is one of the better documented encounters. Either you believe the 6 men who witnessed it were lying or you believe they weren't. Either you have faith in the police investigation of Walton's disappearance or you don't. But the facts have always remained the same. It doesn't make the UFO community less credible to discuss the facts of the case. It just makes you seem like a complete faggot.
