I had a group of friends way back, all in the same school, and we met this one guy who was super chill and would hang with me and this one other dude, then met everyone else, and they all liked him and we’d all chill together, but me and him really hit it off and would chill just us a lot since we vibed and both likes rock. So after a while they started acting like he was an imaginary friend of mine, they would say things and do things that hinted that they “all knew behind my back that he wasn’t real, but would play along for my sake”. It was super fucking weird, but also led into other stuff these faggots pulled to ruin not only my friendship with them, but all of their own together. A big part of the final breakup of everyone was a bunch of liberal parents got their kids to target non-liberal kids with bullshit like this, and 2 of the dudes who were targeted like this eventually OD’ed and died, under very suspicious circumstances, I think it was more of a poisoning for one of them almost certainly, for the other, maybe. But the “fake imaginary friend thing” was super weird, because the dude I was chill with played along with a bunch of it, and these faggots would like whisper shit to eachother, which bothered me at first, but I found ways to make them kinda frustrated and bummed their shit didn’t work. Was talking to one of them about occult stuff, and he smirked and said he put a curse on me, and I laughed and then got very serious, and said “NOOO dude, don’t do that if you’re planning on it,” and he asked if I was scared, and I was like “noooo dude, if you’re planning on that definitely don’t, it will fuck you up bad, I have a thing, it’s not protection spells, but I can’t talk about it, just don’t do it for your own sake.” His face looked like he got ill, and then his life fell apart.
