You people are very unfortunate in terms of the effects of malicious disinformation and social controls in the form of a weaponized educatorial system designed to make high intelligence a rare commodity available only to the elites.
If you were to know how to investigate thoroughly, or why to, there are several additional sources of information and data that strongly point to artificial construction of this feature and several others nearby to it.. as well as others far distant from it having similar proportions and similar geometric features.
Good luck accomplishing any real investigation in this era of computer falsified visual imagery. You have become cynical of all visual depictions due to the capacity to fabricate visual compositions while also being completely dismissive of any actual simple photographic data sources.
This particular image is only one of many of the same feature that has been made across several decades. You have been lied to about so much information that you have no foundational relationship to the reality about any aspect of truth; any attempt to include you in a conversation about any real valid information sources and assessment of them is going to be a struggle with you constantly returning to the defects that have been introduced into your thought processes since the earliest stages of your education.

Just telling you the truth is not enough, you need to be trained in how to think. It sounds so simple but the extent of harm caused by the deliberate misdirection is not to be underestimated. It will become the bigger focus in any effort to include you in any discussion of actual truth.

Either that, or you yourselves are the active malicious disinformation agents attempting to make the truth inaccessible to the general public who have been under informational attack for nearly two centuries now.

What's the point of landing ON it? We can see it just fine from orbit. If you land there you can't see anything interesting up close, and it's way harder than flying over. The only point of landing is to grab samples but you don't really need that to analyze the composition of a large structure.
