Are some religions intrinsically linking enlightenment\salvation to geography? eg; can -within buddhist view- you become a Buddha whilst never leaving a western country?
of for ISKCON; can you achieve Krishna's paradise upon death without ever going to india\vrindavan? or Tibet for vajrayana buddhists ,etc
I know some religions demand a once in a -lifetime pilgrimage like islam, nichiren shoshu, etc I think ISKCON too, but im not sure.

ISKCON, or more importantly Gaudiya Vaishnavism, doesnt require a pilgrimage.
But if you can go, why wouldnt you want to?
And if your devotion is strong enough, Krishna will bring Vrindavan to you.
The maha-mantra IS Krishna. Say the maha mantra and Krishna is quite literally there, in your mouth.
And Krishna is always with Vrindavan, and in Vrindavan.
So if you are chanting purely, how is it possible you have not gone to Vrindavan?

It's the soul of the matter. It's like how lovers of a sport will wear certain clothes marking them, but just wearing the clothes doesnt mean you love the sport.
If you love a person, you dont need anyhting other than the person. You dont need fancy clothes or a certain spot or anything. Just them.
But if you love that person, dont you also want to see their home? Meet their family? Dress so they think you look nice? Do things they want to do?
None of these things mean you love them, but people who love them do these things.

vaikuṇṭhāj janito varā madhu-purī tatrāpi rāsotsavād
vṛndāraṇyam udāra-pāṇi-ramaṇāt tatrāpi govardhanaḥ
rādhā-kuṇḍam ihāpi gokula-pateḥ premāmṛtāplāvanāt
kuryād asya virājato giri-taṭe sevāṁ vivekī na kaḥ
>Nectar of Instruction, Verse 9: The holy place known as Mathurā is spiritually superior to Vaikuṇṭha, the transcendental world, because the Lord appeared there. Superior to Mathurā-purī is the transcendental forest of Vṛndāvana because of Kṛṣṇa’s rāsa-līlā pastimes. And superior to the forest is Govardhana Hill, for it was raised by the divine hand of Śrī Kṛṣṇa and the site of His various loving pastimes. And, above all, the superexcellent Śrī Rādhā-kuṇḍa stands supreme, for it is overflooded with the ambrosial nectarean prema of the Lord of Gokula, Śrī Kṛṣṇa. Where is that intelligent Person who is unwilling to serve this divine Rādhā-kuṇḍa, which is situated at the foot of Govardhana Hill?
