I met this guy in college back 2018 through a mutual friend. He was pretty funny and often lightened up the mood, no matter the situation. He had this obsession of becoming a YouTuber, but mainly focused on his studies and viewed it as a childish dream. Then covid hit and everyone was forced inside. He just lost his job and had nothing to do, so he went for it. He built up a channel with a small but sizable amount of subscribers. Nothing MrBeast level, but nothing to ignore either. Last year, he got invited to VidCon by another YouTuber in his field. He accepted and invited me along for the ride as he didn't like the thought of driving for 10 hours without someone and he didn't want to fly. We arrived the first day around 9 AM and attended the convention until 6, when my friend decided to head to the AirBnB he was scheduled to stay at. As I entered, I got this weird vibe, as if I wasn't welcome. And sure enough, I wasn't. The person I assume was the owner told me this place was strictly for YouTubers, and slammed my friend for not telling them I was coming with him. I had to sleep in the car, and kept seeing random people walking by in the night, peeking in and staring me. I know this, because they blasted music at random intervals which kept waking me up and I'd see them at the window. The following two days were exactly the same, but my friend got quieter and more secretive with me. I tried asking him about his experience but he brushed me off. His behavior became more erratic back home. He started drinking, which he did in moderation previously. He'd mumble to himself and lock himself in his dorm room at odd times. He's still uploading, but more frequently and he has a look in his eyes like a fusion between pure anger and tiredness.
>>42148882Interesting, we need more info, any change in his videos? Subject of his videos before and currently? Also why would you not just get a hotel or tell the handler to fuck off or that you are his assistant with the channel but don’t go on camera? Probably lucky you didn’t tho. Did he sign anything with a company or anything like that? Or maybe meet a chick there he liked and she fucked some other guy?Potential theories>blackmailed >he had a shitty time and sees those people as his peers so he’s stewing in it>he signed some papers and is now owned by someone who sucks>the “owner” of a airbnb wouldn’t be there, so it sounds like a handler type older person, describe them in detailPost more info if real.
It reminds me of this story. This or something similar probably happened.https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=21DDcrr7BxY

Gaming and a bit of lore.>Also why would you not just get a hotel or tell the handler to fuck off or that you are his assistant with the channel but don’t go on camera? Probably lucky you didn’t tho.I had $80 on me and had to save money for food, which was expensive. >Did he sign anything with a company or anything like that?No >Or maybe meet a chick there he liked and she fucked some other guy? Also no, he was in a relationship with another girl back home at the time.
A little more detail:My friend ran a gaming and lore channel for stuff like FNAF, Poppy's Playtime and random Itch.io games alongside some analog horror. He never was a real fan of them, but they brought clicks. He ditched the lore/theory side this year and focuses on let's plays. The house was plain, like a generic house. The only thing out of place was a symbol drawn on the wall facing the door (pic related, my attempt at drawing it). There was a room with a red light but the man watching me would angrily tap on the window if he caught me looking. The music that they blasted was some Kevin MacLeod type instrumentals. >>42148943Interesting, I haven’t noticed anything 'wrong' with our dorm but there's a good chance he has fixed it or I simply ignored it.
>>42149842FNAF is connected to Epstein It's a big club and you ain't in it
