I have the theory about the insane which might be scary. What if at one point those of us insane asked to be made stronger fast, like one life and I level up super high so the life after that will be really sweet I can do anything, so we live out one extremely horrific nightmare one where unimaginable terror becomes the norm slowly (from our perspective) turning you into what you wished to become all along. There's near death experiences that point to this type of thing, something unnerving about the possibility of wishing horrible things upon ourselves because in the other perspective past the veil past this life it's all just fun and games, you know like that Roy game in Rick and Morty imagine something like that and that is what this actually is.
