I think I welcomed a faye spirit into my house and it is living with me.The following story is 100% true.My wife and I have a few rabbits as pets. We went on vacation to Japan this summer. We visited a rabbit fertility shrine because we thought it was cute (picrel). Note that the statue in picrel has red eyes, indicating albinism. All of the cute statues at this shrine had red eyes. We are pretty staunch Christians, so visiting shrines was a purely cultural experience to understand the Japanese people. I, however, do believe in spirits. I believe that mythology and fairy stories arise from encounters with spiritual beings. For completeness, here is the shrine we visited: https://www.japan-experience.com/all-about-japan/kyoto/temples-shrines/okazakiFast forward 6 months to the beginning of the new year. My wife and I have been trying for a child unsuccessfully for 3 months. On New Year’s morning I step outside and there are two adult rabbits on my lawn. This was new. There are rabbits in our neighborhood, but they have a clear ecological range and we have never had rabbits in our yard. My science brain came to the obvious conclusion that these two had wandered from their home and maybe the range of rabbits was expanding. I said to my wife as a joke, “Check it out, two bunnies came to bless us on new years.” The bunnies hung around for a few days and we gave them water and berries and eventually they moved on and built a burrow in our neighbors yard. (Our neighbor neglects their yard and don’t know about the bunnies)To be continued…
Continued (2/2)Fast forward two months. My wife and I are on a walk to our local park. It’s a rainy evening, the sun has almost set. We find a baby albino bunny in the grass all soaking wet. It had probably been abandoned by a breeder. We know about bunny care and know that this bunny cannot survive the night like this, so we take it home. The bunny recovers and is cute as can be, so we can’t really say no to adopting it. It is currently very healthy and happy. At the time I joked to my wife, “those new years bunnies were scouting out our house to see if we would be good parents for this scamp.”When we took it in, there was a nagging feeling at the back of my brain that this wasn’t normal. Fertility, albino bunnies, us trying for a kid… it all seemed to coincidental. When we brought it in I wondered if we were going to conceive soon. You can probably already see that this is exactly what happened. My wife is now pregnant. We have a cute tiny albino bunny sprinting around our house. It is all quite a lot to take in.I am beginning to believe my suspicions. I think I let a fairy in and it will seemingly be living with us for 10 years or more. Our child will grow up with it.
Oh geez, the old faye spirit. cant get enough of the faye spirit. Problem is faye is too popular now, everyone wants a faye.
>>42154694Whether or not they are popular with normies right now doesn’t mean they aren’t real
>>42154705Faye is a trend and youre just riding the wave
>>42154709Leave the thread then
>>42154676>>42154685good omen
>>42154709wtf are you talking about, humans have talked about faeries for all of history
>>42154685Post bun or be fake and gay forever
>>42154676OP I believe this is a quasi-miracle (just because we haven't gotten the mystical science down), but I also believe you're being superstitious and illogical when you say it's a fairy living in your house. In fact, I think that's kind of retarded. For example, there's a circular plot of grass where I sit in zazen, and a robin always stands there when I'm outside. I think we are in tune with the Zen, including the patch of grass. But I don't infer there's an extra spirit over and above Nature being interested in what I'm doing. Maybe a bunny spirit, but even then if you know the concept of Tathata, the spirit-world is such-like; there are no clear boundaries, and you shouldn't reify a spirit responsible for a sort of Shinto synchronicity as it occurs in Nature.
cool story.
are you thinking of naming the bun OP
>>42155492My wife wants to call is Andrew for some reason
>>42155511Lets see a baby bunny pic anon
Seems pretty based desu. Sending that bunny nose boops.
>>42155713Based
>>42155698Sorry, the bunny doesn't like being photographed. It runs every time I try. Im not going to push it, if its a fairy, i dont want to piss it off.A pic of a baby bunny is also not evidence for my story. My story cannot be verified to people on /x/. You are welcome to believe it or not, but I am telling you it is true.
