The evil guy I might see when I close my eyes for too long. Certainly some people have a guy like that.He is completely remorseless, wants me to suffer and gets sadistic enjoyment from it. In particular, I feel a single interwoven sensation of this, and that I am profoundly powerless against him. Other objects of the mind can be bypassed, but he is an iron wall.His image tends to be a dark form of rainbow goo, but human with a face. Except he isn't really human. He's a part of my mind that presents as external and uninvited.He could have something to do with my fears that I'm especially resistent to developing from. He could be a synthesis of the suffering my ego has inflicted on my genetic foundation, the suffering of stakes that cannot be dislodged. An amputation wound of the soul. I don't know what he really is and I genuinely feel a twinge of fear by contemplating him.

>>42157854Back before the light rail expanded out of Seattle, there used to be this Chinese guy selling bootleg DVDs a couple blocks from the International District station. Most of what he had was the usual stuff, shaky cam recordings of new action movies and random kung fu tapes, nothing I really cared about at the time. That changed when I went through a horror phase, and I started wondering if he had anything actually scary, not just mainstream stuff. One day I asked him straight up if he had anything that was “truly scary,” and he just grinned and laughed, then crouched behind his table and pulled out two DVDs, saying they were “something really scary.” They didn’t look like anything special, just the same cheap bootleg style as everything else he sold, kind of charming in a way, but I bought them anyway. When I watched them, I was honestly shocked because they weren’t really movies, more like a compilation or mixtape of graphic footage. A lot of it seemed deliberately put together to show the “dangers of hitchhiking from BC,” with this recurring bit about a guy driving around picking up women and then cutting to scenes meant to demonstrate those dangers. It was disturbing for sure, but at the time, with everything else I had been watching during my horror phase, I didn’t think too deeply about it and just assumed it was some random B-horror project trying to ride the “found footage” trend.
