How does reincarnation work? Does your soul reincarnate as soon as you die? Or does it wait until it finds a compatible soul? Basically can you only ever reincarnate with someone who was born the same day you died or can it wait, even years if necessary?
>>
>>42158970
also is it non linier (as in i can reincarnate as someone in the past)
>>
Sources range from 40 to 50 days, like that from the Tibet or Egyptian book of the dead however they also recognize that time flows differently.
>>

There's another civilization in the spiritual world, so it's not an automatic process
You can reincarnate quick or spend years doing other stuff
>>
>>42158970
I say it almost doesn't even count as reincarnation. I won't believe this life in the next one.

You have to think of reincarnation as if you were growing a tree. You plant the tree now in your lifetime in the hopes of that tree growing up to be useful for the next generation. You do that in the hopes that once you die and reincarnate, you'll have the opportunity and the chance to take advantage of that planted tree in the next life for yourself once it is fully grown. What you do with your life now with respect to the collective consciousness of Humanity and civilization as a whole will affect what you may experience unto the next incarnation of yourself.

The overall idea is to make the world a better place to decrease the chances of your next incarnation being born into a world filled with suffering and Hell. It's that simple for our immediate physical reality. But for the long term of our non-physical and spiritual portion of our existence, that's a question that we continue to ask and try to answer even to this day. Let's hope maybe we'll get clearer answers in the next life when Humanity figures that out in the future. Until then, we must do with what we can in our current life.

Madness. All of it.

the 'idea' should be to escape re-incarnation, but go ahead and keep breaking your back for the next billion years like sisyphus, maybe someday you'll create heaven on <strike>hell</strike> earth... not

Go ahead and tell everybody in the class on how we should escape reincarnation and demonstrate it for everybody else on this Earth on how it is done in practice. While you do that and let the world be run by those who wish to subjugate and brutalize everybody else on this planet, I'll hedge my bets on making both the world a less shitty place to live in while looking for ways to transcend this cycle of reincarnation by actually making an impact on our physical reality in hopes of making an impact on the metaphysical level as well.

As far as I'm concerned, your guess on what we should do in our reality is as good as mine. At the very least, I'll try to be realistic about our situation and work with what we have by making a difference in both the physical and metaphysical reality instead of completely giving up on the physical world believing that by doing so you'll escape the cycle of reincarnation when in reality you don't know for sure.

You go do that and prove us all wrong. I strongly encourage that. I'll stay grounded and do what I can on my end. It's that simple.

>instead of completely giving up on the physical world
jesus
you sound like a co-dependent abused wife, thinking you'll make the relationship work if you keep trying hard enough when the logical thing to do IS just give up and walk away
>Go ahead and tell everybody in the class
and just to carry your stupid school analogy: I'm not doing your fucking homework for you

Whatever excuses you want to make to help you sleep at night, anon. Give up and cry while you walk away from reality, all the while you stay useless too. Nobody's stopping you from doing that, certainly not me either.

First - karma is a gordian knot. Trying to unravel it is a waste of time. You pull out the Sword of Knowledge and cut it in half. It doesn't matter how it works, because the goal is to stop identifying with it and get out.
Second - the most basic overview is your state of mind at death determines your next path, and your karma determines how enjoyable it will be.
There is also talk of heavenly and hellish planets one goes to as consequence, so it is likely there is some time between embodiments, unless you count such consequences as another incarnation.

On average most wait 8 years
I waited two decades
It depends how advanced as a soul you are. Less advanced rush back in, more advanced souls go to the higher astral, learn from their mistakes, plan what they want to learn next and then find two parents they think would best serve those goals
>>
>>42159050
The Tibetan book focuses on reincarnation but the Egyptian one focuses on transition into the eternal
>While some traditions or sources suggest a wait of 6–20 years for average souls, others suggest average intervals of 700 to 1200 years
49 days is just one part of the bardo journey out of 3 or 4 parts iirc
The wait used to be quicker on earth because it was less advanced souls incarnating but earth has now become a more advanced school since we have so many cycles ending and chance for more growth. The less advanced souls that incarnate quickly are being sent to other planets according to modern sources like Dolores cannon

Excuse me as I can't find the exact statistic anymore, but scientific reincarnation research shows that most reincarnators spend a few months to 1-2 years in between their lives. Many of those who have intermission memories report choosing their own birth (they walk up to a parent / pregnant woman and decide to become their child).
Have a webpage which could partially answer some of your questions: https://psi-encyclopedia.spr.ac.uk/articles/planned-reincarnations/

My bad, this page: https://psi-encyclopedia.spr.ac.uk/articles/choice-reincarnation/ would probably be better suited to answer your questions. I don't want to be a shill but I recommend you to look through that website if you want to learn more about what reincarnation research has to say about reincarnation. I personally find that more interesting and more trustworthy than random Anons on here making random claims without giving any evidence.

>most reincarnators spend a few months to 1-2 years in between their lives.
Completely ignores the relativistic nature of time and material existence.
>>
There is no self/soul so there is no reincarnation.
