The truth is the aliens built this planet and engineer global cataclysms everytime a civilization gets too close to being able to leave the earth and establish colonies on other worlds. This has happened several times on our planet and even mars in the ancient past. The funny thing is that this knowledge is beyond top secret information only known by the key figures in the government, yet some jackass like me with a 10 dollar internet connection was able to piece it all together.
