Buzz is, the massive delay was due to the government coming down hard on them for revealing so much. There was a major effort to recover the missing element 115 as well. Once they figured out they weren't going to get it, they went through and cut a ton of good stuff about the inside of S4, the exact location, and so much about the operation of the facility. They were cool with the Lazar story being out there because it was still hearsay but the extreme efforts to detail so much if it with this project was way more than they were willing to let out. After months of working with the producers of the film, they were able to get it scaled way back - enough to release it. It's the watered down version. Won't be much if anything new. Don't expect the VR thing either.
