In my experience prayer and seeking Christ does not do anything when it comes to possession. There are many hateful and stubborn spirits who will simply dig their heels in. As a Christian myself I hope you stop spreading this lie. In scripture Jesus once said "This kind can come out by nothing but prayer and fasting" implying it takes more than just recanting His name and praying in the name of Jesus. Combatting possession can be a long-term process involving many steps more complex than sprinkling holy water.
