We aren't really our bodies, right? Like in a dream you can feel certain parts of our body but not others. We are a soul piloting a meat suit which means death is an escape into a different set of neurons giving us different sensations
I used to think so, but now after a few decades around people I think most of them *are* the meat suit
Your body is a collective projection. The personal projection of yourself that you see in dreams is very weak in comparison.

Why did you think the dream you remember is "you"? I dream as not me all the time and it seems to be fairly common experience.

try on the Wreck-it Ralph hypothesis man. We are but players in Real World the MMO. The underlying premise of the games is that we don't know it's smoke and mirrors, because it get's depressing not believing you're "real." We play them to believe we are "real" for a time.

NDE visions explain a lot, especially the ones where the person is dead with no brain activity yet they can still see and hear conversations outside of their body. Scientists claim there's no scientific explanation for consciousness, they know it's our souls at least the higher up ones do but if they admit that then people won't want to work for money.
