Does someone else also has an irrational fear for software or computers/consoles for crashing and makes that loud noise of retrying to charge that dead app? Like and example of this is BSOD on Windows or just a software failing, not showing corruptions which is really scary, but more like just failing. I know it sounds dumb but I just wanted to share this with someone lol.

I feel the same way. Crashing a Wii while playing a modded game is scary, it's almost always a loud EEEEERRRRRRRR sound, you're never prepared lol.

I was wondering with how bizarre and unsettling glitching, corrupting, and crashing games is, I wonder if there's a deeper shared reason we find this scary.... Perhaps something we know deep down that we are reminded of....

I feel like I can extremely vaguely remember this happening to me in real life but I don't remember when, or what happened exactly. Like something so horrible must have happened that my brain "crashed" and shut down, or was unable to process what was happening. It actually scares me to talk/think about, which is weird because I don't know what it is I'm "remembering"

I had a near death experience in the ER and when my soul crashed out of my flat lined brain it felt like a software crash irl.
