Which historical period was your favorite?
>>42180686Disgusting. Periods are gross

>>42180678This vampire is supposed to be 50 years old
>>42180678Probably the Calabrian stage of the Pleistocene Epoch, since that’s when music started getting good.
I know this isnt a serious thread but do you think the average person would be able to handle 200 years of life ? Lets say we get a true anti-aging medicine that can extend longevity to 200 years or more if you wish, would you want to? Do you think you'd be fine?
>>42181354most humans would because they're simpletons, they never tire of this world and the "pleasures" of the flesh15 years were enough for me and I've just been waiting to die ever since
No.421806781st centery after chonos defeat was the best year of my life so many believed in the gods that i bearly had to do my job though it only lasted 200 years best time of my life. because odin and me where friends instead of enemies and i had most of my family on my side for once.10/10 would relive it again.
i wanna become immortal
>>42180678That little bit of time between when people worked out how to make stuff out of metal and when all the easy to get metal ran out and you started to have to work hard to get it.
>>42180678the sixteenth century was most pleasing to my kind the nights were dark, the world moved slowly and men still feared what they could not understand, making them far easier to find and feed
>>42183102nice larp little nigga
>>42180678I've absorbed culture from the last 200 years as a historian. I'd argue every point in mankind's history is filled with it's own points and drawbacks. Each era had it's downsides, though having experienced the labor and culture I'd say small agricultural settlements are by far my favorite. You know everyone and everyone knows you. Lazily sleeping under a pear tree by a stream listening to only the birds and the wind has to be one of my favorite memories. If you live in a dirt paved walkable neighborhood in the woods with just horses and a general store it's really nice. I'd say if your in a rural area even 1890 or 1910 would be a good period. There are still pockets (outside of the Amish) which hold to those older community layouts that birth town's. Land plotting near me makes tight pocket communities deep in the mountains more set in stone.
>>42185489almost forgot>t.human
Cretaceous era with diregrafs from t rex brain and pterodactyl chum mixed with bodies. God I miss the diregraf days. Only the strong survived like land of the lost but with diregraf collossuses. But also the titan colliseum at the beggining of time when I was original Frankenstein, theres something about torturing titans turning their teeth and eyes to rotting bone cheese and making them finally speak words to beg for mercy. Maybe fantastic beasts when i was pickett a bowtrucle diregraf. All of those were some of my favorites
I often wonder how someone, let's say 500 years ago would handle simple technology next to a boomer, I wonder who would fuck it up more.
>>42186015My teeth. Was turned by the bat of prophecy last when I was 5.5 years old I turn into a 5.5 year old after two weeks of witching hour I'm young Dracula. I'm also the strongest demidemon, the lord of liches, Hellraiser, ratboy god, great white saiyan ape, wolfy from goblins quest 3, god of reincarnation, a black dragon, a lunar vampire, and the smiling titan. I have 13 immortality redundency and invented the permanent spark of life with runic golems even once entropy destroys everything and physics. Also have a bunch of high roles
>>42186068Bro you have completely average human teeth
>>42181354yes. I don’t get this chain of thought. it’s not the time but decay of body and loss of family that makes aging hard, if life is extended presumably for many/all and the affects of aging negated, you would have to contend with boredom which people already do quite well in regular lifetimes. however for most people you get old enough to realize you don’t have enough time. >>42181617that actually makes you the simpleton, there is endless things to read, do, explore, people to meet, things to try, new skills to learn, things to create. mysteries to ponder. you don’t know it all.
>>42186266Nope I have 5.5year old vampire teeth and I'm a bite wight so I'm always drinking blood so they wore down. Also they come out after two weeks of witching hour.
>>42186322There's literally nothing unusual about your teeth. Your canines aren't even longer than average.
>>42186297 Dont get me wrong I would love to last more than 75-80 years AT BEST, but I think there's a few factors that would make me think about it, like lost loved ones, illnesses or disabilities still uncurable, death of the planet and universe, fucked society etc....I would probably still do it out of fear of nonexistence, but I think the only real way for it to be truly worth it is if we can survive and adapt past earth and this universe's guaranteed death somehow, along with time travel or universe hopping if its actually possible. Wishful thinking though, Im hoping this "AI" race eventually leads to real AGI progress in the next 10-15 years or at we get least longevity escape velocity at least so that we can maybe get AGI after that. If the afterlife existed then i dont think i would care THAT much but since it doesnt then yes let me live much longer.
>>42180678Dunno. I’ll lyk if the thread is still up in 200 years.
>>42180803bump
>>42180803Looks 50 with makeup and maybe some face work done.Attractive for sure, just not an unbelievable claim
>>42186431I'd like to go to 300 personally.Past that not too much. My GF has to be there with me though.
>>42189748And like, good enough health so like 150 is like 40 and 300 is like I JUST hit 70.And no dehabilitating conditions. You know, the no downsides of long life package plz
>>42189752No actually fuck it I wanna top out at a 35 physical condition all the way to 300 then just die whenever I feel like it.
>>42186068So you're saying that you're a high roler?
>>42180678The 80s and in America. People were down to and fun to party with. People just accepted that shit happens and didn’t worry about shit like they do now or before. The amount of stupidity and hilarious shit people got away with was absurd but people celebrated it as a sign we were on top of the world. We weren’t and were heading for bad times but people weren’t afraid to not give a shit and live their lives. That mentality is dead these days and society is falling apart because of it. If we have nothing to celebrate and we have nothing to contribute to we have nothing to exist for. Even the “Dark Ages” weren’t this bleak.
