>>42181605>>42181718Worth noting that they were coastal, seashells (and gourds) can fill the role of ceramics well enough to delay efforts in that direction, especially if there's no good clay in the area.As for the arts, we don't see sculptures or carvings, but we do see traces of paintings and textiles, which sadly didn't survive well enough in the next 5000 years.It's probable that their preferred form of visual art was clothing patterns or paintings on natural slabs of rock, probably because they don't appear to have been too good at working stone (it's rather amazing that they managed such monumental architecture without using proper blocks btw.)
