I didn't think reiki was a real thing. I went in with a cynical attitude. After that session, I walked out with 90% of my deep-seated anger gone. The best way I can describe it, is if washing your face after a shave, and the pores of your skin take in the air more clearly. That's how this invisible film 1 inch away around me felt that covered my body, like holes in my spirit were cleaned, and it felt anew.So I went back, and did more sessions. And then I did a deep dive into reiki's history. To this day, the most popular term for this is reiki (Japanese.) It was also known as animal magnetism, based on the universal fluid theory.

I can say people 'fence sit' a lot when it comes to not just reiki but really doing anything in life. You can ask all your questions to the reiki practitioner, and the session should take between 45 minutes to 1.5 hours. Don't drink alcohol 24 hours before, and drink plenty of water after your session.
