The new Minions movie has the Minions use the Necronomicon to summon Cthulhu.

Why are they promoting the use of Lovecraftian Magic on the young?

I've noticed this Cthulhu trend in many movies, South Park also had Cthulhu references.

I know the Minions are a Masonic creation (the studio that makes the movies is literally called Illumination lmao).

But why promote Lovecraftian Magic? Do the Freemasons work with the Old Ones?

Because Lovecraft is so popular these days that he's permeated the collective consciousness. Never seen the movie btw.

Lovecraftian 'magic' is just fancy math.

Checked.

The movie hasn't come out yet but i find it odd, it feels subliminal.

>why is (pop culture thing) referencing (pop culture)?
Truly a mystery. You know cthulhu isn't real, right?

So not only does the person writing not understand the analogy they are trying to make, but you don't understand the concept of anology. Radical.

No you're right, that tech writer who can't even write a headline about a fictional creature without googling to check what the fuck it is is definitely engaging in soft disclosure for an entirely different fictional creature. Just like how when people say herculean to describe a thing being challenging. It's because they are CIA agents trying to prepare you for Hercules disclosure.

actually that sounds pretty cool. btw despicable me / minions are actually for middle aged or older women that post on facebook. same way my little pony is for 34yo autistic men. the stuff about it being "for kids" is just some marketing gimmick.
maybe facebook grannies will casually joke about summoning elder gods in their outdoor pool and the punchline is they never cleaned their pool. or they summon a monster out of the toilet and something skibidi dob dob dob yes yes.

Lovecraft and cthulhu specifically were really popular internet memes back about 10 years and the new minions movie is just really late to reference it
