>The Dyatlov Pass incident was an event in which nine Soviet ski hikers died in the northern part of the Ural Mountains ridge in the Russian SFSR of the Soviet Union on 1 or 2 February 1959 under undetermined circumstances. The experienced trekking group from the Ural Polytechnical Institute, led by Igor Dyatlov, went on a hike of the highest difficulty level at that time, and had established a camp on the eastern slopes of Kholat Syakhl mountain. Overnight, the group cut their way out of their tent by knives and fled the campsite, inadequately dressed for the heavy snowfall, strong winds and extreme cold temperatures as low as −40 °C (−40 °F).>After the group's bodies were discovered, an investigation by Soviet authorities determined that six of them had died from hypothermia while the other three had been killed by physical trauma. One victim had major skull damage, two had severe chest trauma, and another had a small crack in his skull. Four of the bodies were found in May 1959 lying in running water in a creek, and three of them had damaged soft tissue of the head and face – two of the bodies had missing eyes, one had a missing tongue, and one had missing eyebrows. The investigation concluded that a "compelling natural force" (elemental force) had caused the deaths.>Another group of hikers (about 50 kilometres (31 mi) south of the incident) reported that they saw strange orange spheres in the sky to the north on the night of the incident. Similar spheres were observed in Ivdel and adjacent areas continually during the period from February to March 1959, by various independent witnesses (including the meteorology service and the military).Thoughts?
There was also radioactivity on some of their clothes. One of the strangest mysteries for sure.
I see it one of two ways, either they1. got cattally mutilated by aliensor 2. rogue EMFs twisted their brains up and made them go feral.I'm not saying everything else is cope but it kind of is.They had their supplies hoisted up off the ground so they were probably sensing some sort of animal presence as well.Luca was the eviscerated russian; almost folded in half hotdog style from being split open. arms curled up and shrunken.he was a baseball player too.
>>42201736you mean basketball?i don't believe they played baseball in Soviet Union
Genuinely creepy
all of these cases are same and have the same weird factor that makes the skeptic arguements hard to believe. Yuba County 5 was similar as was the Khamar Daban incident in which people clawed at their faces and bled from their orifices but the unifying aspect in all of this is the seeming sudden onset of insanity and the overlap with cattle mutesI'm willing to accept more fringe explanations like chemical exposure but honestly I think there is something in those mountains that is self aware and can be very hostile These incidents really get shilled against hard despite their obscurity
>>42201562> Don’t go up into those mountains. They’re not the kinda mountains you wanna be goin to. Guess there’s no stopping you if you made up your mind, though. All the skeptical explanations I’ve heard for this sound like absolute bullshit. Usually “there was a mini avalanche” or something about Russian soldiers killing them. This is one of the few incidents that I think might be a true mystery. Even the locals are like “oh yeah don’t go up there”
>>42201562Baby's first internet mystery. The working theory is that a gas leak in the tents drove them out.
>>42202552why were they missing body parts and had broken bones
>>42201562We need a good psychic or hypnotic regressionist to tackle this one.
>>42202549>>42202279I believe there were either sound weapon (Havana Syndrome - like) or strange fairy like infrasounds involved
