Red pill me on King Solomon and his temple
The solomon of biblical canon was a polytheist with the narrative of the "testament of solomon" and it's claims about his subjugation of demons being a retcon that took place after the emergence of christianity.

>>42202603>>42202635Why are the masons obsessed with him?
>>42202708Its a foundational allegory for moral development, character building, and structural symbolism. They ritualistically use a legend based on Hiram Abiff, the temple's chief architect, for things like the Master Mason degree.
>>42202572dude had 700 wifes its all about goon maxing the temple is a palace of coom
>>42202635>Historical evidence suggests they either never existedthis is always what I've kind of assumed. I find it hard to believe they dismantled the entire thing as it was described without leaving a trace. the wailing wall also isn't where the temple was said to have been.
>>42202572Demonic as Hell.
>>42202708They aren't, not really anyway. The masonic fanfiction of solomon and Hiram abiff is a reskin of stories native to the border of Scotland and england were the cult of the mabon survived the longest.
>>42202742Of course you'd be the one celebrating his biggest failure in the story.
>>42202926You're right; his biggest failing was that he divided his love, his life, and his progeny among 700 women who all competed and schemed with and against one another. The Song of Songs makes it unambiguously clear what must actually happen, what the highest expression of love actually is. Solomon was meant to abandon his ways and forge a new path with Sheba; instead they traded secrets, parted ways — and both of their empires crumbled within a generation of their absolute dominions. A tragedy for the ages, to be sure. The Song of Songs is so transparent in its instructions, and yet the wisest man & wisest woman of their eras could not figure something so simple out. Here's hoping the next generation finally solves this simple conundrum. Simple doesn't mean easy, but this is a long time coming at this point.
Solomon is a state of consciousness. His temple is his reality. Think about what it means, and who he got to build his temple, then figure it out yourself. Like most things in the bible, it is a map to a result in consciousness.
