OK lets pretend that space is real. How the fuck do they not shoot past the moon and drift off into space?
>>
>>42214065
They save what's left of the fuel for that point in the trip. Essentially the booster will strategically "drive" the Artemis II around the Parkside of the moon and then have one final boost to shoot back to the Earth from slingshotting around the moon.

gravity lol

In space, the shuttle acts as a moth attracted to the Moon's natural green glow produced by feromone mushrooms visible from space only. It's a flaw of the alien technology found in Giza that the shuttles use.

If it explains all the facts of what's observed and allows you to accurately predict future launches, I don't see why this is a bad explanation.

You don't know what gravity is?
>>
>>42214065
They started coast at around 3 km/s and ended at around .4 km/s.
They never had enough speed to escape Earth's gravity well, but if they missed the moon it would have sucked for the people inside. They likely wouldnt have the fuel to burn back to the Earth and the oxygen would run out.
But they would arrive back on earth dead instead of floating off into space.

Gravity and slingshooting from the moon by consuming what's left by fuel and escaping by increasing velocity.

And also they study the path for years in order to not fall in this scenario

What I don't get about flat earthers is that with binoculars or a small telescope you can see that the moon is obviously spherical. The same with Jupiter, you can observe it different times and see it rotate.
>>

Obviously I know what gravity is we have it here on earth too. Consider this scenario:
>driving my car past a house
>i drive straight
>i dont magically turn right and crash into the house
Gravity keeps things stuck on the ground it doesn't make me fly in a random direction for no reason. Theres no gravity in space thats why things float. At least that is the narrative.

You are literally dumber than an aboriginal, at least they invented boomerangs.

If you want to understand orbital mechanics, play Kerbal Space Program.
>>
>>42214985
You fucking retard.
Everything that exists exerts a gravitational pull that attracts things towards it, it’s just the gravity is a really weak force. But it scales with mass.
The more massive an object is, the more powerful its attracting force is. This is only noticeable for objects that are the size of planets and moons and such.
That is why gravity keeps you pulled to the ground, because the earth is massive.
Since the moon is massive, it too exerts a very strong gravitational pull and attracts the rocket to come towards it.
This is all middle school physics. I swear that if everyone here payed attention in school, this board would be dead.

I don't think a balloon has much gravitational pull.

Honestly this is fucking insane that precise shot toward the moon and getting back to earth and the balls you need to do this are massive

They use gravity-resistant materials and maneuver the ship by opening a shutter that lets some gravity in.

Play kerbal space program and make sure your rocket has good fine tuning tuning engines so you can finely adjust apoapsis points.. best to wait till your like halfway to adjust if your gunna commit to it.. The further away from the moon the harder it is the nail a direct point.. But time it right and you use bugger all fuel getting back.

~5,778 K which is fucken like 9,940.73 °F. Alright!! ITS FUCKEN HOT!! HOT AS FUCK!!

G2 V Spectral Class

Core: ~15 million K (fusion zone, not visible in-game)
Photosphere (visible surface): 5,778 K — matches in-game readout
Corona (outer atmosphere): 1–3 million K — much hotter than the surface, due to magnetic heating (not directly shown in HUD)

STICK YOUR HEAD RIGHT IN THE MIDDLE OF IT!! ITS FUCKEN FUN!!
