But, being observant to a very high degree of the human body, I noticed what feelings occurred to my circulation, and how to remedy those.I basically mapped out all kinds of physiological responses to any state I was in, or the stimuli or engagement back then, and these people would try and mess with my head, hurt my feelings, whatever, so I figure, why not just study this, and develop resilience?This was something like 11 years ago, when I was on some forums again because my nerve pain kept me from doing my usual activities and routines, so I am sitting around more and I hadn't been on the internet much for a while, and was getting accustomed to then state of trolling or whatever, but also the very politicized or ideological stuff that was around then.At some point, I kept running into some of the same posters, with some of the same recurring dispute, and sometimes, with particular ones, there's like a distinct feeling, like a pattern of a recurring feeling, and sometimes it's the one I was talking about, like the bad feeling in my torso. I used to also get a recurring pain in my hip or back, but again, chronic nerve pain, and its gradaully been less severe, but sometimes these feelings are just particular to the, I don't know how to explain it, the moment? of the back and forth, banter and arguing and whatnot.The thing is, they intend to induce stress, so imagine knowing at the root where the body release a stress reaction, now imagine stopping it at the nerves, inside yourself, that's what I do.

>>42220544Well there's weapons like that for one, and I do have a natural resistance to some things like that, but that wasn't the point, because its not the same technique being employed all the time, sometimes its just the attempt to turn ones emotions against oneself towards physiological effect, if no psychological goal can be met. So I just stop it at the source, I make sure my nerves won't let me get stressed out. For a long time for me this was impacted by caffeine intake but by changing some things this became absolutely easy. I have a self control over my body others do not understand. I try to explain, because of it is easily replicable, but the ones who keep at it the most NEVER listen. I can't imagine them aging well.

Through the nerves, I can induce quick changes, or sustained changes over time, but the endocrine system is not as immediate and has to catch up. As it stands, I generally have a high electrical charge in me, I shock myself touching things, water, etc. So I can use it to do things inside myself and I just replenish it as I want.

Since I'm staying up I'll write some things and you can just check it out in the morning if you want.Now there was the way I was taught, but I'm not ready to teach that way yet and it's also not intuitive for a lot of people so I'll just try and wing it with something i hope makes enough sense.Some people like to describe looking for a mental state through meditation but it can also be as simple as the state one is in right before going to sleep or right when waking up, there is something in the mind going on different than waking life, and there's untapped stuff there that we don't always get to use in waking life either.Now, there is also sleep, and the subconscious state, and sometimes we dream, and in those we also experience a lot than what is capable or possible in waking life, but sometimes we have dreams that tell us something, about ourselves or something happening or about to, ominous or strange, all kinds of things exist there inside us.Now, what that is, whether its in the realm of subconscious and a state of falling asleep, dreaming, waking up, that's one way to look at it, and by practice one can learn to integrate the neurology associated with that with that of the waking life, harnessing new possibilities in the state of consciousness, or even understanding and knowledge and all that, the perception of things, the ability to focus or concentrate greater, or even just feel peace and calm and pleasant feelings.So by continuous practice, through exercises, a methdology whether it be a meditation, sometimes people like visualization, prayer, chant, some things work for some people more than others. What one is looking for is a tool to train to access different states better, that is with the mind for one.The rest of the body, a different story, but its important to integrate the two, the part above describe a lot to do with mind, and even the head area, but things like good posture, physical structure...

With these states they are associated with the times and phases of the day, because we have to get sleep and wake up again, and this happens in cycles, ideally natural ones, so the mind will get opportunities at various times to experience these different states, sometimes with naps even, so that the brain is going through this cycle. And sometimes the brainwaves are different and can be associated with some of these states more, it's not just for meditation but conscious skills in waking life, because these can be performed better generally at certain brainwave lengths better than others. Some brainwave lengths associated with stress or agitation, are said to be not as good as one associated with calm or focus, etc. So the key is getting away from the stressful wavelengths into the more pleasant ones.
Then the question is, how to train this, how to train brainwave states, and all that. Well for starters, they tend to also correspond with breathing and heart rate, so when strained or stressed in breathing and heart rate, if it's not from increased physical activity, intense work, etc., it's harder to get into calmer brainwave states and vice versa the more stressed the brainwave state the harder it is to have smoother circulation and easy breathing, there's something about the way they go together, but it has a lot to do with blood/fluids and nerves.Of course these are automatic, so what I mean by take control of them, involve a developed adaption and routine. Because the body has to be slowly trained through conditioning and adaption, it doesn't change it's ability to have a higher heart rate or greater lung capacity overnight, those things take time. And because the things take time, it takes some work over the course of months, or sometimes years, for some things to develop. Take the seasons for instance, depending on where you live, there might be different spectrum of temperature and humidity, and the body has to adapt to these things, and because they have a lot of energy associated with their natural systems, these weather based phenomena can also affect our perception. With heat for instance, too much and there's heatstroke, not the best state for activities demanding mental fortitude and concentration. Some people are more sensitive to things like chilly weather, wind, not just cold weather but windy whilly weather, stuff like that, rain, some people have different seasonal things, everyone is different but the point is that the seasons happen and there are changes in the energy around, whether one believe one can use the energy is besides the point, because the body responds subtly to things...
So where I want to start with then, is light and the eyes, just as an example, and then the counter example.So with light, your eyes will respond to it, you can become more alert perhaps, because the body is trained to become awake and more alert generally when there's daylight, since we're evolve to this before we used electricity, so we had starlight, torches and lanterns, to give us some light in the evening while the darkness stimulates sleep hormones. There's something about the starlight and moon, and then the sun, it stimulates the circadian rhythms depending on what we are exposed to with light and the body is doing all kinds of stuff because of the rhythms. But the rhythms also happen in relation to consistency. So by building more consistent rhythms, or control or discipline over one's rhythms, one gets better and more predictable benefits from those internal changes.I start with light, eyes, and sleeping and waking that's easier to start with self control rather than one's internal functioning, even something as simple as heartrate. The regulation of energy in the body is also particularly organized through sleep and waking cycles, so by getting better more consistent rest, that energy is more available in waking life, eventually into that consciously directed energy I described, because you have to have it first in order to use it, and that takes integrate what the body already has, in terms of organ function, the brain, the blood/fluids.This is where I get into something else, maybe not comfortable for everyone, because not everyone wants to imagine their own organs and all that, but familiarity of what they are and how they function really helps because it can tell you how you are doing and where you're at with how you are feeling, and the better one can listen to them the easier it is to avoid burning them out.
It's like developing a 6th sense, but I call it listening to oneself, sometimes the body is telling you something, and its just a lot like listening to it however it wants to tell you, because it has its own way and doesn't just tell us in language we speak or symbols we imagine, it often does by feeling and sensation or other sudden things apprehended by a kind of awareness, a sense of something. But it could even be as plain as pain, or just a very good and relieved feeling. The body likes when we listen to it, and it rewards us when we do, and makes us cranky, upset, sluggish, and uncoordinated when we do not, because its a complex system and every part needs care.Now I mentioned a counter example, and here it is. Close ones eyes for instance, nevermind the light, and nevermind visualizing either, are you aware of yourself, like the physical mass that you are in the point of spacetime you occupy? Because we are not defined by what we see, but with or without such we have what we are. And our body, our frame and everything, is very sensitive, so even sitting and eyes close, our nerves can be active and we have all kinds in our skin and the ones that connect all movements, and even when sitting still, there's a feeling, because there's common pathways of bloodflow and other body fluids close to these nerve pathways. When one is not moving, and relaxes, one can feel the activity of this stuff acting, and as the blood is circulating and the tissues replenishing or regenerating, the human body can open up to a kind of greater perception just like with the wake and sleep states, except this is with spatial awareness, tactile feeling, pressure and sensitivity to force and centers of gravity, and a lot of other things.Now, here's an example I like to use. Ever drop your car keys in a hard to get place, somewhere you can't see with your eyes where the keys are but you have to reach and feel them for yourself?
That would be a good situation to practice closing the eyes and training spatial and tactile awareness, since there is no way to see the keys, the sense of sight is not necessary to finding them. Sometimes when we deprive ourselves or minimize the use of one sense, the others become more active, one or more might become stronger. So much of our sensation and awareness comes from sight, but a lot of our coordinated awareness also have to do with functioning and nerves connected with our ears, including for balance and motion. So when in a sitting or standing posture, but with our eyes close, these nerves, our ears, all that can be very active, especially when awake.Likewise, the sense of touch can be trained very independent of both sight and hearing, by the way one maps the body through proprioception, the relation of parts and their moving, and the sensations parts to one another, whether on the surface or underneath as deep as the bones.So for me, I spend up to many hours a day in my waking life with my eyes closed. And I often underutilize my sight unless I am reading or driving. The less I relied on my sight, the greater I learned to rely on my hearing, for detecting the presence of something, coordinating my physical movements, etc.Again, one doesn't necessarily have to do meditation, but getting used to the eyes closed state helps, another good example is when one wakes up but has not actually gotten up for the day, the nerves are just getting active, and the body slowly feels itself, and the circulation is changing, and slowly or suddenly, the consciousness is given to sensation of the body that it couldn't listen before while asleep. We wake and our day starts, but there is this process, of things getting active, sometimes when we just lay there, our eyes closed, and feel and thinks about them, listen to them, we notice a little more here and there, and over time, morning after morning, one can develop almost an instinct, a stretch for example..
Ok now I have to get to bed too, but its a slow start. If you sit and practice awareness tasks with your eyes closed for longer periods of time, you'll also get used to awareness of the body absent of light and visualization, which is where other training for the inside of the body develops. It's a bit complicated. But that's a start for now.
