There was a bit of a backstory at the time, but I disregarded it for a long time as I was still in denial about being a "monster" and whatnot, and I dunno how accurate it is. But according to the absurdly long and vivid dreams I had at the time, the gist of it is that we were albinos in Egypt three thousand years ago (with white / platinum blond hair and red eyes), and we coped with the discrimination we faced for our appearance by working outside of the usual system of society and manipulating influential people. My mother in my first life had white hair and was a sex worker, and my father had black hair and was just a normal soldier. Over the millennia, we slowly migrated to Italy and Spain and later Northwestern Europe. By now the albino traits have been mostly mixed out, but a few traces still remain, such as the pale white splotch that appeared in my hair and has grown since I was 17, and possibly the golden ring around my pupils, both of which I inherited from my mother. The people on my mother's side of my family all have a ridiculously high IQ, but are seemingly prone to bouts of insanity when stressed.

There's also two names that were mentioned at the time, but I'd rather not mention them here. They're allegedly my own given name in my first lifetime, and a nickname of a woman from my bloodline who supposedly achieved some form of apotheosis, although rather than seeking followers in a positive manner, she seduces people she hates and convinces them to sacrifice everything for her, then proceeds to eat their souls after they die. Perhaps that sounds a bit grim, but I'm sure she means well; she protected me a few times and taught me a few things during the incident two years ago, and hatred exists for a reason.
