No matter how many things seem against you. No matter how much evil inhabits this world and seemingly the one beyond it. This isn't you.To be a mystic means to be one who lives in mystery. There is no reason, no answer to any of your pain, any of your suffering. No certainty that could sustain you. No final secret, no hidden horrible piece of knowledge that finally explains all your suffering. You will die and you will still not know. Because this world is bewilderment, and bewilderment is the attribute you were made to experience.Why does a child play? Why does he spook himself in empty rooms and dark corners? Why does he create imaginary worlds in the air and forests? Why does he long only for what he doesn't and can never know?It's a mystery.
