There was this anon that claimed that something in the The Amazing Digital Circus franchise would be like a modern day King In Yellow, and drive children insane, leading to mass suicide.

They said season 2, but idk, I thought this might be it.

Thoughts?

Thanks in advance as always!

That show's pseud tier. Second half just devolves into the irl cast of trannies crying about their emotions constantly. Nothing revelatory at all in that show for anyone past reddit tier spiritualism

well now i'm morbidly curious about this "terminal despair" that's coming up.
but i haven't followed any of those series. the helluva toons are so juvenile and cringey, it's such a damn waste of an art style. and the pacing. the pacing is probably worse than the edgy shit.

Oh my fucking god.
This is the most retarded, creepypasta-tier bullshit I have ever read.
Nobody's gonna kill themselves over this show.
They didn't kill themselves over FNAF and that shit was soft disclosure about ritualized torture and loosh farming that got confirmed in the Epstein Files.

Humans are alot more mentally resilient than they ware 60-70 years ago. Thank the internet and natural selection for that.

Not taking the chip. Not putting on the headset.

The green reaching tentacle hands also feel like an inuendo.

And so does Gangle's design with a mask and bondage tape.

Keyholes are another motif and Jax is the Rabbit (follow the White Rabbit?)

Ragatha also has the one eyed symbolism.
>>
>>42251144
nice digits. i only saw pilot & gator candy ep, figured i'd catch up later. i took ragatha's one eye thing as the expression "to turn a blind eye", because her gimmick was always deliberately overlooking problems and sweeping things under the rug.

You know what makes this even funnier is that an autismo magnet show like TADC would normally attract tardy like migga like flies to shit, yet he never watched it nor knows jack shit about it

Really, youre discussing something that hasn't even come out yet instead of the hundreds of gnostic and masonic references throughout the show?

But apparently the hunch that this is connected to hastur/king in yellow got your microscope hard enough since it can potentially involve tentacles

Congratulations migga, youre officially more retarded than the average tadc viewer

And the average tadc viewer is a spergy ass teen

Go get a life man.

Not sure how it will be so bad to point it would cause mass suicide. I remember watching Happy Tree friends as a kid and rooting for Flippy's survival.
The way that anon is describing the situation almost seems more like a Bird Box movie scenario.
You know the movie a bunch of entities/demons roaming around causing people to commit suicide or try to get others to look at the demons upon looking at them.
>>
>>42251362
that movie was a tedious slog, but something really standout was how some people were absolutely hyped and enthusiastic about the "monsters", and would gang up in groups to force others to behold them, and if the viewer didn't die, then the "monsters" got a new fan who'd force more people to look at them.
i had a hunch that the monster fans were actually the good guys. hell i'd probably join. looks like fun.
>>
>>42251144

They remind me of the tentacles of the Watcher In The Water from the LOTR novels, both green too. Also reminds me of Vectors from Elfen Lied a bit.

Is this significant? IDK, maybe.

Watership Down was an old 1980's animated film about rabbit. Most parents thought it was going to be okay for kids to watch based on it basically being a cartoon.
Only for movie to prove them dead wrong with the animals being hunted and killed in brutal ways closer to reality.

nta, list some references

I caught the black & white tiling immediately, the jester stuff didnt click instantly for me, I did notice Pomni holding her one eye shut when she sings Daisy Bell which stuck out egriously to me, Kinger's wife Queenie having the rows of eyes like the SEELE logo from NGE could be just a reference to NGE but I suspect is more towards what NGE itself was referencing, the Seven Seals.

zelda ocarina, in retrospect, was way ahead of its time more than you might think. the zombies were m-rated shit. lots of vidya gets T or M ratings for f-bombs, racist jokes, having a brewski, taking a puff, or having a bit of fun with a cutie. but ocarina had zombies jumping on your back to loudly drink your brains, after forcibly freezing you with a screech.

i'm amazed at how many 90s cartoons had racist or sexist jokes, or straight up drug jokes, and now everything is so squeaky sanitized. it's really jarring.

now whenever i see some 90s lookin goofy thing, and suddenly it gets racist and does crack right in public, i go "oh yeeeeaaaahhh, 90s toons really were like that".

My man Miyamoto, the undisputed father of modern video games.
I can't wait to see what he has planned for the next Zelda. BotW and ToTK were amazing.
>>
>>42253471
ToTK was underwhelming for me as it felt like BotW but with building, rather than a genuine attempt at a sequel, which is what it was advertised as. Between the two I'd say BotW was better imo

Back to Ocarina of Time, it had some interesting symbolism in the Shadow and Spirit Temples as those felt like they had the most to say in terms of theming and environmental storytelling. The oppressive feeling of the Shadow Temple was tangible, the sins of Hyrule's Royal Family hanging over Link like the blade of a guillotine set the stage for a terrifying fright. And the Spirit Temple's isolation from the rest of Hyrule as the sands draw in both past and future into its grip as the witches forced Nabooru to lose her spirit as they controlled her like a doll as an Iron Knuckle. Shit like that was way better and esoteric coded than Forest, Fire, and Water's typical "your friends will always be there" messaging.

There's a pretty wide gap between "This generation's Watership Down" and "psychically leading children to suicidal depression".
The reason Watership Down is regarded the way it is, is because parents rented the cute animal cartoon movie without a glance at the back cover.
TADC has established itself as a psychological horror, though I use the horror part lightly.
It'll be really impressive if the last episode has some kind of traumatizing revelation with how it's set up and been analyzed online.
Occult symbolism maybe, child killer probably not.
>>
>>42255873

The only for it to cause suicide would be extremely demonic MKultra shit. A cognito hazard.
