At times I wish I were born a jellyfish. I wonder what their life is like, if they have any wants, needs, or aspirations; if they are afraid of anything.
If you put a tax form in front of a jellyfish it would passively shit in the water column and swim away, but what would it be thinking and feeling in that moment?
I am curious about that kind of peace, but I will never know it. I would never know it even if I were a better man.
