Dreams can be wonderful things, full of adventure and excitement, but they can also force us to face twisted versions of our lives that we'd dread to see in the waking world. And it seems that there is no rhyme or reason behind what dream you may have before you go to sleep. White noise, musics, binaural beats and frequencies all can help us tune to certain realities in our dreams yet something within us can still drag us into the deep and dark while our eyes are closed. What do you anons believe causes bad dreams? Parasites? Demons? A guilty conscience or even high levels of regret for decisions made and times long gone? And why do bad dreams wear faces from our past like a shape shifting homunculus, carrying itself with such familiarity as to ensure our fright and disturbance? Maybe, bad dreams exist to torture us, to generate and harvest loosh while our spirit seeks rest. Maybe it's a warning of things yet to come, cryptic in its messaging but all in an attempt to keep us safe from the world. Or maybe, there's no rhyme or reason to it at all and dreams simply are as they were, fleeting memories behind our eyelids meant to fade away as soon as they open.
