If you think you don't have schizophrenia anymore then you still have it! You're post says you're mentally ill. Get a through physical and mental checkup and reapply for SSI, and you may need help filling out the paperwork - any error will disqualify you, and they may deny your paperwork several times for the thinnest of reasons before you finally do get it. Money only grows on government trees for you if your rich!

hey friend,im dxed schizoaffective and relate to the feel. they are really quite mean to you if you're off meds and not easy like they want you to be. I think the moral of the story is just that you have to learn to take care of your own shit and all doctors will ever be able to do is fix already sick people. we just are the way we are, it's hard to fit in with others but we can still try our best to blend in with society. Scientology was right in a sense where they targeted the mentally ill with counter spritualism rather than just trying to deaden their inner life. just turn your thought towards prayer and try to put a muzzle on your thinking towards soimething constructive of your moral character.
When you have a shamanic calling (aka mental illness) you can either go balls deep into being a lunatic and trust the spirits, or you can trust the science and take the cure. No in between.
