How do we feel about reversals? I was doing daily draws with my Thoth deck without them because I found the contents of the cards already verbose enough for a reading but I'm going back to my Rider-Waite deck because I feel the need for something more digestible for now because I got overwhelmed by Thoth. I DID though read reversals for my RWS deck.

I like working with them when using RWS, and in my personal system, whenever I encounter many reversals, I identity some misaligned energies with the querent/query on top of the reading. I think they're useful, giving extra nuance because a card alone, despite it's position already has different meanings, but a reversed card isn't always negative, but again depending on the context, the query and surrounding cards. For dailies I used to draw two: one for what to expect about the day ahead and the other advice on how to make the best of it. However when it comes to advice position, I rarely check it's reversal meaning, but once again, context takes precedence.
