Imagine two video games. One is an mmo rpg where almost every character except for a few npcs is played by someone just like you with a complex internal life that can't be properly represented by the character they play.The second game is almost identical to the first, but all the characters are npcs, though they appear to be players since they are trained on the behaviors of the first game's non npc characters. I believe that players who don't cooperate, cheat, etc in the first game are exiled to the second, from thier perspective it seems like everything suddenly is going thier way.How can you tell which of the two you're playing?
