So I don’t believe in anything paranormal, but something happened to me years ago that I still can’t explain.SoWhen my family first moved into our house, I was still a kid. One night I woke up randomly, which was normal for me. I’d usually wake up to drink water or go to the bathroom. That night I went to the kitchen, passing by the living room.As I walked past, I saw someone sitting on the floor in the living room. I didn’t look directly at him, more like from the corner of my eye, but I could still see him clearly. It was a man with long gray hair, wearing a red jacket, just sitting there and smoking a cigarette. The weird part is he didn’t look like a typical old man. He felt “old” in a way, but not physically like how you’d expect. Hard to explain. What’s even stranger is I didn’t panic at all. I just had this thought that if I didn’t look at him or acknowledge him, everything would be fine. Like I somehow knew he wasn’t going to do anything. So I got my water and went back to sleep like nothing happened. After that, for years, I just assumed it was a dream. Like I had dreamed waking up and seeing that.I never told anyone about it.Years later, my younger brother told me about a weird dream he had. He said he saw an old man sitting in the living room, in the exact same spot, on the floor, wearing a red jacket, smoking a cigarette. The moment he said that I completely froze. I got full body goosebumps for the first and last time in my life and honestly freaked out. I had never told him anything about what I saw, not even once. He even noticed my reaction because I got pale.If it was just me, I’d say it was a sleep hallucination or some kind of dream. But I can’t explain how he described basically the same thing, in the same place, years later.Has anyone experienced something similar or have a logical explanation for this?
I seen shapes in the dark from people to animals. But they were always dark shapes, never colors.
