Sleep deprivation and hallucinogens. HPPD is as close as you'll get. >>42276183

based visual snow haver. i like snow because its cool and white. has the snow induced any insanity in you? if so, was it beneficial? i'm often sleep deprived and notice temporary beneficial effects at the expense of my rapidly decreasing life force.hallucinogens i've never tried. i'm afraid there's no hope for me, realistically. guuess i'll stay a bit sane for the time being. thx for sharing ur info. bless your soul!
>>
>>42276183
i have fucking awful visual snow/ and floaters and can confirm its not spiritual. just something you get if you are autistic/ high mutational load. would be interested to hear from anyone else with it (how do you cope/ when/ how did you get it)
>>
>>42276265
for non snowbros its like visual tinnitus. makes watching ufos a ballache

Astronauts say that solar radiation passes through the ships hull and impacts with their closed eyeballs and they see flashes.

don't plan on building any rocket ships any time soon. maybe deplete the ozone layer... might be an option. let it snow high energy particles. but clearly the astronauts are experiencing something different since most people with snow just live casually

Mine is fairly constant location-wise. It varies in its intensity and features depending on various factors though. The most interesting feature I never see anyone mention is the sky vortex. If you focus on a distant monochromatic surface, such as the sky, it's revealed that the "snow" is actually a morphing shape which amounts to something with rotating radial arms. Once you've seen it in the sky you can recognize it elsewhere, such as looking at a white wall up close. You'll see the rotation aspect of the grain pattern. Though if you aren't thinking about it, it looks like semi-random static. Dark objects get light grain, light gets dark. Stimulants and dopaminergics, or sleep deprivation, or intense focus, creates (reveals?) colored grain.

The other thing people never seem to describe adequately is that the grain isn't in or on your eye. I generally perceive it as blanketing objects themselves. It's present on your whole visual field, but on all the objects in it. Only certain herbs (like vervain or california poppy) turn it into something like a rippling sheet in the eye itself.

I've noticed it for probably 15+ years now. I found the show Texhnolyze shortly after my visual snow greatly intensifying, developing nerve pain, inability to eat, and difficulty with the left side. Journey to the underworld. That's how reality works, it either makes things for you in advance, it couples / guides you to whatever matches you, or both. So maimed with static vision, gets a story about the maimed with static vision. Ergo Proxy was also oddly similar to me. Main character has matching gematria, amnesia story, some other similarities. If I was playing the role of Vincent, there had to be a Re-L. So a woman with long black hair, light skin, blue eyes, and a celestial nose appeared in my routine and was strangely fixated on me. Saw her with a kid later, guess that was Pino.

Weird life. Lot of inspirations from VS though, back in the day.

Nothing ITT hadn't been already put forward by 2012 to 2014 by Schankin et al and everyone else. No one actually knows and I never get a good conversation out of it. It could be anything from microwave and vaccine induced brain damage, to cervical spine issues, to entrainment, to ambient infrasound, to magnetosensitive particles embedded in the eye seeing magnetic fields, to damage to a filtering stage (unlikely), to implants, and so on. It responds to eye tracking, if you focus on a distant point in the sky it's clear the grain pattern is more like ripples in a sheet and you'll seeing a morphing swirling vortex. It's not actually rotating, but the way it morphs resembles form constants and gives the illusion of rotating arms. When you focus close again that grows to cover your entire visual field and you perceive it as static. Dopaminergics like cacao or adderall can cause it to intensify and become colored, but that's inseperable from blood pressure and end tidal CO2 changes that it also responds to. When I wake up I see three yellow-gold horizontal lines propagate from right to left across the whole visual fields. This repeats every 3 seconds, making me think it's entrainment and neuromodulation by an external system. It could also be blood flow.

That's it. No one knows if it's metaphysical, neurological, mechanical, or all of the above. I've seen the grid pattern stuff others described ITT and other "veil thinning" in the sky. If I try to astral project into or through the moon I immediately hit a checkerboard grid and snap back into the body. I used to think I had a real(er) body somewhere else and had to wake up to protect it, or was being projected from somewhere else, and chemtrails or w/e caused interference. The eclipse was important to me for this reason.

webm is taken from Texhnolyze. Which conveniently appeared in my reality after I developed VS, autonomic dysfunction, inability to eat, and whole body burning pain.

Visual snow is distinct from phosphenes.
>>
the snow visits you rather than you visiting the snow. so there must be something to invoke it. perhaps a ceremony you performed when it visited you? a sacrifice? not intentional. just by happenstance. d oyou recall any particular behaviours or events prior to the visitation by the snow?

i do recall in one nightmare i had as a child where the grim reaper visited me in the form of darth vader at the time, there was a constant static-looking rain. and prior to hypnogogia, i saw my thumbs and goblins running around in my room morphing in size and proportion. so maybe that was like visual snow, albeit only in my dream. maybe that's the closest can get to the taste of this sweet snow

The heatwave distortion pattern here is exaggerated, but somewhat accurate to "Todd's syndrome" / "Alice in Wonderland Syndrome".

k well guess there's not much to be said beyond this. its just a circumstance. maybe the snow wasn't meant for me. didn't expect lively participation in my thread so thx for posting what little info there is on this topic

Straight lines appearing bent as well. Texhnolyze doesn't capture the afterimages and trails however. Or just how strange things really look. It's like watching the world through old analog camera... the world often looks like plastic. Just looks weird. The lighting and so on.
>>
>>42276430
my only point of reference is my feverdream. it's probably some malfunctioning of the visual centers in the brain
>>
>>42276183
Dark floaters that move with your sight are annoying as fuck. Weird thing is I didn't have them until I dreamed that I had them
>>
>>42276906
nigga u cooked ur eyes. i'm talking snow
>>
>>42276183
Why. I've had this for years because of first generation SSRIs (pacil, Zoloft).

It's a curse
>>
>>42276906
I had extremely bad floaters and got rid of like 95% of them overnight, all I did was an affirmation one day while I was riding my bicycle and feeling real good. I'm pretty sure it worked by what they call the "flow state." Overnight manifestations like yours or mine are totally possible. It takes a strange combination of things to work though.
>>
>>42276183
Sleep deprivation, and anything else that will help you schizo out.
>>
>>42276906
I got those and I went to the optometrist and he said that it's the wall of my eyeball sort of peeling off and hanging in my line of sight. I got them after performing a mediation incorrectly, was moving my eyes to help visualize something. somehow that fucked them up.
>>
Don't do drugs kids. You'll end up in these threads.

the fun part dosnt really start with visual snow / tinnitus it starts when waves start to coalesce in the periphery or your visual snow and collapse into fractal geometry in the center of your vision.
normally its the 1 in 150 dudes (the dunbar number tribe shaman) who have an unusually high amount of grey matter in the motor cortex, you can find these dudes cause they house to fall asleep every day but can go from full rem sleep to fully awake in seconds. beyond this play alot of 3d videogames this enhances said grey matter and listen to lots and lots of loud ass music generated by functionally pulsed electromagnets.
>>
>>42278320
no idea why autocorrect changed fail into house... should have read
>you can find these dudes cause they FAIL*to fall asleep
>>
>>42278320
Play vydia if you want but tinnitus is forever, you don't wanna blast music into your hears on the contrary you want to protect them at any cost. Cells in the ear DO NOT regenerate and any lost audition is never coming back.
It takes a LONG time to get used to and when it gets beyond a certain threshold it will drive you to the door of insanity.

wow i really fucked up that sentence, i should have probably typed something like - it takes them hours to fall asleep each day where "normal" people take only minutes

i didnt say it was a cure.
ps see Lab 257 on Plum Island

It's not a cure, you also didn't say it was a curse either demon when it is, now go back to your hell.

i think theres been a fundamental misunderstanding on your part, could you quote the exact lines of my text that have given you these opinings? (i bet you wont)

so you think im a demon from hell because i said listening to loud ass music (GENERATED BY FUNCTIONALLY PULSED ELECTROMAGNETS {yU glaze over the revelant section?}) cause later in life tinnitus in some people?
then i shall become your satan - tinnitus is the brain developing a mental schema to visually perceive local em field modulations. i didnt mention it as a curse or a boon, i mentioned in response to op asking what is it and what causes it, try reading more and the meaning of words in sequence will become less elusive to you
^^the fun stuff i mentioned in my post is what happens when you begin to perceive your own field.

tinnitus and visual snow is the brain developing mental schemas to perceive local em field modulations*
also ive had both since i was born, its no more a curse then color vision is to a toddler, your mentality is what curses you.
>>
>>42278364
Don't give yourself credit, you're just a tranny wishing to cause harm to people. People shouldn't under any circumstances listen to loud ass anything and risk causing themselves irreparable damage and a lifelong affliction that is tinnitus. On the contrary they should listen to music or sounds at a reasonable sound pressure, and if anything the quieter the better, as to really focus on it.
Begone witch. You'll never be a real woman.
>>
>>42278379
Pitiful hex. You have tinnitus since you're young because you're malformed or because your parents were negligent.

fantastic then you know exactly what it is and what causes it and can explain to op said answers in a manner more then damage

.... or your triggered by the word louder out of context and seem to have forgotten that op was ASKING HOW TO HARM (by your definition) HIMSELF
> 2 make myself go more insane or sumdark qi siphoning type beat
are you lost boy?
do you have anything of relevance to say on the subject of tinnitus or visual snow, what they are, what causes them to occur, how to enhance or remove them, or in a more general capacity what about the development of sensory schema? (heres a simple test EVERYONE has a sixth sense, do you know what it is or are you a child still stuck on the face holes ones?)
or you gonna stay triggered by loud music?

my condolences. but ppl also consider insanity and schizophrenia a curse so i'm not 100% sold it's all bad. it's interesting to see what experiences the brain can create when it's not behaving the way it's meant for survival. it's unique in its capacity to create experience, but the range of experiences is very much limited to those conducive to survival. intentionally breaking it is to experience the full breadth of its capabilities, but it does not come without sacrifices, of course.

>>42278332
hm actually good advice because it's available, cheap and temporary.

>>42278320
plenty of ppl who play 3d video games but no visual snow. it also takes hours for me to fall asleep, i feel, and during hypnogogia/hypnomania, anyone can switch between different states more or less comfortably

>listen to lots and lots of loud ass music generated by functionally pulsed electromagnets
any artists you would like to recommend?

finally
just smoke weed chronically every day for 5 years, also alcohol
or maybe it was the circumcision
>>
>>42279971
I am uncut and have visual snow. My mother smoked a lot of weed though. So in fetal development I probably got the THC from her fat stores.
>>
>>42278320
yes I wonder if this is happening. everyone is obsessed with brain chemical bullshit studies instead of growing.
>>42278329
tinnitus is ear damage yeah you gotta be careful. I went through a lot of music stuff and my right ear got damaged being too close to a kick drum in a studio for 3 minutes. you gotta wear ear protection around machinery because just 20 minutes or big enough pressure will give you damage over time.
never go to concerts where you're near the speakers without foam earplugs.
>>
>>42276183
As you are waking up from sleep, instead of slowly opening up your eyes or going back to sleep force your eyes open immediately. Everything will have a snowy/glitchy texture on it.
