Its due to attachment to the body as your self identity. If you are attached to that identity, after it passes away, then you are dragging along a corpse with you into the afterlife. But it seemed to me, that the ones I saw going there, wanted to go there. I don't know what it is about them, maybe they didn't think they deserved anything better, or maybe its that only in hell could they be among their own kind. We might think of being a good person, going to heaven, learning from angels how to be higher level beings. But some beings, revel in evil, and want to go be with even more evil and powerful beings, to learn from the devils, to be like them instead.But they are all dreams.
