Is there any point to doing this if I'm not some freaky, homosexual Lilith-worshipper and don't want to be more effeminate? I get an hour of sun a day and I feel better than ever so I wonder if there's any point or synergy in moongazing/moonbathing during the full-moon and maybe the day before and after.
The only people who mention specifically moon stuff go all-in in an extreme manner and seem like the types to never get any sunlight to begin with lol or do it alongside rituals
>but erm science says the moon gives zero vitamin d or uv rays
basedience fags can fuck off back to their subreddits, I'm looking for ancient truth here
>>
I forgot to add to when I used to moongaze a few years ago I actually did experience that feeling of associating the moon with infatuation like it was a woman as has already been documented historically with men "falling in love with the moon". It's a nice feeling but I felt like I was getting consumed with just that: feelings. I'm not sure I ever felt any benefits with it than I do now with sunbathing
>>
Hmm, getting the feeling no one here really has a clue just by peeking in neighboring threads. Well, I did what any truth seeker does and did a quick browser engine search on moon worship and saw throughout history it wasn't always associated with the effeminine even if that was common. German tribes saw it more masculine since only male hunters would brave the night with the moon as their guide while seeing the sun as a motherly nurturer of life. Thoth was masculine too. Guess I'm off then

Lunar adorations are good for tying for the cycles, ebb and flow of life. You’ll feel more dragged by destiny and fate, and your intuition would be greater, also a greater tendency to be at the right place at the right time. You’ll be more in touch with your emotions and maybe the emotions of others if you care enough, more prophetic dreams, more dragged by the flow of things and you’ll live a more rhythmic life. May help you with divining future events, and feeling the presence of spirits.

Main goal is to receive inner guidance of the divine/God/higher self/Holy Spirit from the moon, which is also your vessel, adore the moon to cleanse your vessel

Can i adore the moon and the sun(aka moon bath and sun bath)
I do not wish to antagonize any forces of this life
Plus i feel very good whenever i do either
>>
>>42285695
Do not stare at the full moon nor bathe in its light.
I doubt you degenerates heed my warning.
Just saying Don't so my conscious remains clean.

That's no moon!

The moon is evil now? Sheesh
Why?
>>
>>42288855
I didn't say it was evil . I only said you should avert your gaze
>>
>>42288936
Then let me reframe the question
If the moon in itself isnt evil, why should i avert my gaze off it?
There must be a motive and that made me very curious of why
>>

Prolonged exposure makes you gay

Yup I wish it was something cool like werewolf powers. Stay safe out there bro

How about sunbathing
>>
>>42288647
Yes, balance is important. Too much sun makes you an egomaniac, too much moon makes you crazy and overly sensitive/emotional, you need both to balance each other out. I recommend doing Crowley’s liber Resh four times a day (search it up). There is a reason why Muslims and Zoroastrians tie their prayer to the courts of the sun.

For the moon I recommend once a day, a different prayer, invocation or mantra depending on moon phase like https://archive.scarletwoman-oto.org/scarletletter/v1n2/v1n2_lunar.html , look into the gayatri mantra

An invocation and prayer to God through the sun and moon while doing what you are doing is the best way to do

Full moon is a time of wild energy, crazy energy, a surreal time. You can use that energy on a specific intent, and release it towards that with orgasmic fury. Think of it like cumming inside a fertile woman. Of course don’t abuse that energy for selfish ends, or something that disrespects others and their autonomy.
>>
>>42289440
>Think of it like cumming inside a fertile woman

Well sheesh that escalates quickly but i got the idea

In the sun i normaly feel like a powerhouse of a man and very leisure like, akin to a lion if thats a way to picture it, while in the moon i am much more reflective

Though i never though of such moon usages, interessing
I could try, though the other anons didn't seen to like the moon very much and i did feel something wrong with her in certain nights

The moon is a cute girl and all
But i am a sun guy, can't get enough of my own limitless energy

The moon is weird, untameable, strange. Also, the reason why other anon’s might not like her might be some projected misogyny. The moon is the divine feminine, but it’s ridiculous to think that working with her would somehow make you more womanly or a transexual, otherwise every single cancer male-born would be a trans woman and every single Leo-female born would be a trans man.

Every man has an anima, and the anima is more relevant to a man than the animus. Though, I am not a woman and I don’t know what a woman experiences during solar adorations, the sun is always associated with the self and while the moon has more so associations with the not self which is why lunar adorations have more of an effect in your environment. Perhaps the sun presents itself as the anima for a woman and feminine men, and (for gay men as well) the moon is the animus - I can’t enter their mind and experience what they experience. Women who are from feminine-centric traditions invoking the moon as the embodiment of themselves should not be confused with them invoking the moon as the ego, in fact they are dissolving themselves and their ego to become the embodiment of the environment, creating themselves as a vessel for energy. We are both the sun and moon no matter your exterior gender. A man (or a woman who is butch and a lesbian) invoking the moon will also do the same, however I think there may be a subconscious slight more focus on things coming towards and being something for him, while a woman may have a slight more subconscious focus on herself coming towards and being something for things as an extension of somethin, however since we are both male and female both will happen.

Wicca is very lunar because it’s feminine, but the founder Gerald Gardner was a man and you could see that he was searching for his anima through the moon.

I think lunar adorations are good for finding a fated lover in your life, specifically someone that acts as your reflection.
>>
>>42289875
>I think lunar adorations are good...
It's good practice and attracts similar kinds.
>>

>Moon as masculine
There's some evidence to suggest...

>In Germanic mythology, the moon was personified by the god Máni, who drove the moon across the sky, brother to the sun goddess Sól.

Night hunting is hot, fox walking while closing slowly on that quarry. Simply divine. The senses heightened and attention focused like a spear.

So to the tribes both the sun and moon were masculine, better dig into my tribe and see what they did.
>>
>>42289982
Meh, i don't care about the gothics or the germanic culture overall as it is mostly not my own nor in my blood
Much more mediterran which makes the moon as feminine and sun as male

But i think everyone SHOULD and NEED to look their ancestry and culture to find which one they are in to properly "connect" to it
This is no way saying germanic culture is inferior to mediterran, it is inferior to ME and ME only who has little germanic blood while having mostly mediterran(italian mostly)

As such i get much better on the sun and see the moon as a woman and even as a muse sometimes, though, sometimes she is weird. Not the sun, the sun i see both myself and the man i could be and want to be, bathing in it is basically being in my own ambient if anything

But again, thats on me.
>>
>>42289358
It's good unless you're a Dracula.
I have a hunch it may counter act the moons effects. I'm actually here scoping out what the astrology nerds are sayin
>>
>>42290352
You too?
Neat
>>
Too much moonlight will make you gay.

Gotta get more sunlight, direct to the back of the retinas.

I measured my testosterone before and after starting into the sun for 30 minutes. I saw a five-x increase in testosterone after staring at the sun for 30 minutes.

But know that if you blink, even once, it makes you gay.
>>
>>42289087
It's a pirate ship that took over the planet thousands of years ago. It transmits various signals that mess with you internally. You have been warned.
>>
>>42290056
>...who has little germanic blood while...

It only takes a little.

>But i think everyone SHOULD and NEED to look their ancestry and culture to find which one they are in to properly "connect" to it

Well how about it?

The two tribes in my blood view the moon similarly, with some difference, enough to keep me reading anyways. The description is Máni (Alemanni) or Mōna (Saxon) driving a chariot across the sky, with significant lunar events having to do with the pursuit of a great wolf.

Yet somehow the moon seems feminine to my intuition. But Imma argue that the elusive and subtle nature of the moon, and its reflective nature, suggest feminine qualities. These tribes planted or reaped based on the waxing and waning. But there I go again...

How about your people? You said Italian I thought Ostrogoth.
>>
There is no moonlight. It is reflected sunlight. The moon is a thief. It steals light and changes it. That is why moonlight has a lower temperature than darkness. Try it with a thermometer.
>>
>>42292079
The deepest i could go was around the low middle ages and i can DEDUCE some of the iron age in my bloodline and i do know we have alot of things related to the sun for the male in the senpaiíly, specially relations to apollo and christ(both being seen as a sun-like representation and entity. Overall we Just like the sun, lol. Also to add that the word "Sun" is masculine in my language too, while moon is feminine)
Which is, since a little boy was the one i felt the most connected/alike too, same with jupiter

Never really saw the sun as anything other than masculine or the moon as anything other than feminine
Remember kid me looking at the moon slightly enamored once and in the sun i always feel a kind of more energetic feeling on myself too

So again, i have little to zero of other visions related to those, even with the small bits of germanic blood in me is utmostly(of what called my attention) to things like the melancholy or the nomadic style of things if anything
Overall, i am still much more mediterran like
>>
>>42292497
The moon is just a girl reflecting her loves light so people arent throw in the darkness
>>
Btw last night i saw three planets in a straight line(the three brightest spots in the sky that werent stars)
No idea which planets it where, but that was pretty cool
>>
>>42285695
there's a reason we used to call them moon crickets
>>
>>42293409
Respect on that exploring roots is so based.

The moon's changes and dynamic nature seem womanly compared to the consistent and steady presence of Sol.
>>
>>42293412
Well mayhaps it's a beautiful thought anyways.
A connection that a defies many miles and boundaries.
A light to those with eyes to see.
>>
>>42290568
Neat coincidence, learn anything?
>>
>>42294039
Got to learn that it is quite accurate on many things
And helped me solidy what i want to do to gain money, also best ways to use it in my favor
Overall my chart read is quite positive
So me like it
>>
>>42294002
Lovely isnt it?
Though as any woman, she surely can have tempers so i would be carefull with that too
But she still is beautiful
>>
>>42293998
Plus the moon works quite well with the menstrual cicle with the cicle of man is exacly 24 hours

So again, more things for male sun and overall it is my take
To me, my bloodline and the spirit of such bloodline the moon is girl the sun is Man
>>
>>42294162
Overall
TO ME
I tend to think the moon as female but the TWILIGHT sky as also female

While the sun and the nascent sky is male
Basically
Start of the day sky and sun male
Start of the night sky and moon female

Much of how i feel looking at these things
The end of the, the Twilight, the moon is all beautiful and pretty like a woman

The nascent sun, the sky starting to bright up, the strong orange and red and the sun itself gives me power as i start my day, i feel myself rising with him
>>
>>42285695
You're reducing the moon to a woo health drug.
You gaze, but you do not see.
If you want real spiritual instruction, observe the stars with binoculars, and then a telescope. Learn the constellations and stars, observe the planets and deep space objects such as star clusters, galaxies, and nebulae. Read about what you observe. The aim is to gain an understanding and familiarity with the universe you are part of, and a spiritual connection to it.
>>
Thread is going to die like this
It was good seeing y'all anons
Hope this thread still up some hours from now
>>
>>42285695
I've never seen a melanite obsess over the moon, but many of them speak positively of sungazing. That's all I need to know. Moon is artificial and fake just like yts.
>>
>>42294156
Her moods don't effect my gaze, just tempests in a teapot.
>>
>>42294162
What historic background gave rise to the moon and the fertility cycle is beyond me presently, but worth looking into.

Guessing Roman fingerprints on that one.
>>
>>42295372
If it is roman it is even more reason for me to see the moon as female
Since again, i am mostly italian
>>
>>42295390
Yeah it seems Roman after some digging.
>>
>>42294151
I dont understand the charts yet
>>
The sun, it's not for me.

It makes me ill when I am exposed too much, drained and dead. I can't cope, I feel deas.

The Moon, I thrive in even when I am dramatic z rotten mood of unhindered lunacy I feel vibrant and alive.

I Despise day time.

I am on day shift right now and I dead, truly dead. I feel nothing but dread, death, drainage and demise. Won't last long.
>>
>>42285695
Is there a single reason you can't just fucking do it and see what happens?
>>
>>42298870
Thats quite worrying anon.
Just to make sure if you are in good health first and of course, if you arent with any gut problems or eating vegetable oils, if you are indeed well.
I can just say to you to try to enjoy the sunlight in a shadow and get used to its benefits
But i can't know how exacly your body work or why, so, bless ya anon
>>
I experience it as very feminine, so I do go out to make love with it. It took me a while to figure out what exactly it is that is dragging me out at night, as if there was something out there that only appears at night, some sort of treasure. Some sort magic or secret in the air... it was all around me all along
>>
>>42285695
Whenever I look at the moon, I keep just staring at it.
