most sci fi authors don't understand how scary the fermi paradox really is.Animal Life on Earth has existed for 750,000,000 years. Human Civilization as we know it has existed for less than 10,000.because of the sheer age of the universe, you could realistically argue a civilization managed to evolve... before animal life on earth managed to.
that's because the fermi paradox is a lie to trick the goyim into thinking there's no life outside earth when actually it's flooded with life including objects zipping around out own moon and strange space jellyfish routinely observed by amateurs but not NASA because their job is to keep the "space is devoid of life" lie alive
