I just tried listening to the gateway tapes for the first time, to be more specific to wave I discovery #1. It started all fine except some strong pressure in my head and my body tingling but i had no problem with that. Its the last 10 minutes of the tape that went awful. After that vocal part ended i started feeling extreme discomfort in my whole body, especially my chest, I have no idea how to describe it as i have never felt anything similar. It wasnt painful at all, but i dont think i have ever experienced pain that was as bad as this feeling. at the same time i got the feeling that i was about to vomit. After i was done listening my whole body was weak and slightly shaking and i literally couldnt do anything for a good minute or two. Currently i only have a slight headache and my arms and hands still shaking a bit.is it supposed to be this way? and should i continue with the other tapes? id really like to know if anyone else had similar experiences.

If this was the introductory Focus 3 track, you probably just relieved some long-held tensions that you had slowly become unaware of.

>>42293492If you're deeply relaxed and close to sleep, sometimes the body will snap you back and startle you. The chest + vomit thing sounds like a panic attack. I haven't listened to gateway in a long time but focus 10 was peaceful and perfect for meditation, I had no issues with gateway. I did get the same chest+vomit feeling last night though and it hasn't gone away yet.
