Does anyone here have any experience with playing the star game? What was your experience? How did you go about constructing the board?

thumbs down from me. all of it. these sorts of religious instruction games are common and always feel forced. from a practical point of view, there is a sort of need for every religion to have multiple avenues of instruction, but this setup just seems forced and contrived to me.

firstly, the permutation space is repeatedly stated as infinite, which sure, yeah, but it is still finite. I also take exception to their description of the pieces on the board as a sort of soul configuration such that every living entity is reducable to a finite description, even as many as there may be as combinations on that board, still attempts to force a finite bound to something which has routinely escaped those definitions. also, nowhere in the manual does it say what the course of game is, the point of it, or what a win is in the context of the game. it appears to be a process of setting up a game board split into multiple levels

-which is the fuckin lamest gimmick and should set off alarm bells-

and the gameplay is to ground through the 9 or so transformation processes using their 2-digit base-3 semiotic representation of the integer math machinery they have under the hood. like any other game, there are simple and crude math functions working underneath it all to give the illusion of a valuable experience. same as a pinball table, just an elaborate bundle of wires and such to entertain your mind for a while.

hard pass anon. besides, in my experience vampires usually create this sort of stuff. recall how much they love numbers and scribbling out silly little mathematical models for everything. it all feels clumsy and contrived to force someone to enjoy learning about esoteric topics. I see no difference in this and mid-week after school youth church services having similar christian tabletop games to teach under the guise of fun and games.

super lame.

it loads and archive.org suggests https://archive.org/details/naos-practical-guide-to-modern-magick/page/n39/mode/2up which leads to page 40 (godbless random draws): picrel
do with that what you goys will, i dont practice nor advise niggermagic (bardon adept here, "adept" meant as its common profane meaning)

Helps you develop abstract thinking/thought constructs..

You need to carve the pieces from quartz crystals into tetrahedronon shape. Quartz are related to the acausal and the advanced game if done correctly can cause aeonic changes.
