How exactly do you beat a demoralization campaign? It's easily permeable, difficult to root out, and highly effective for these reasons. You cannot vaccinate yourself against a psychic plague, and it is extremely difficult to weed out once anchored in one's mind. I fear that for many it is already too late to treat, and for others 'infection' is inevitable. I'd like to hear how you go about fighting an invisible threat like this.

generally it comes down to understanding that its false.

got any examples of the kind of campaign you mean?

Hi can u like, idk, talk like a normal human being?
>>
>>42303658
I am only halfway through this so far but it's been quite insightful.
>>42303768
I don't have anything of the sort on hand, but it's pretty rampant if you dare to set foot into some of the other boards here. It's a centralized push to make people generally feel hopeless, powerless, unable to change their circumstances by bombarding their soul with propaganda while dangling a memory of prosperity just over their head.
>>
>>42303844
ok, so you're generally thinking about stuff related to cost of living, rent prices, house prices and so on? is that right?
>>
>>42303814
you*
you are the one not talking like a normal human being, instead like some retard

Do you have any idea how demoralizing it is for demoralizers, every time you get back up? It's a double edged sword. Triple really when you think about it. They have to kamikaze themselves at you, make you feel down, by making themselves down, and if you get up again, they have to deal with standing up and looking like hypocrites. Then, on top of that, everyone notices, you got up. That inspires others. They can only pay off so many people before the very economy trembles and falls apart. That. Takes courage. Either way. I have something up my sleeve far worse. See, they think I'm getting up again. That's my deceit. Truth is, I'm falling with style, and before they know it, I will dive bomb them so hard I will leave a crater where their souls used to be, and everything they thought they were fighting for, will look meaningless.

Yes, but it's broader than just economics. Humans have to be more than just economic units. Crippling the economy erodes their needs; erecting political boundaries fractures them apart. But, have you ever noticed that people never really act out of innocent impulse anymore? For example, when I was in elementary school, I had a crush on a classmate. We held hands and spoke to each other about everyday things like kids do. When our teacher saw us holding hands one day, she pulled me aside and gave me a lecture on sexual harassment (I was nine years old). My first taste of a human institution was to not act human at all. Valued only for what could be produced.

The Ars Goetia was always just...

A guideline.

i didn't intend to get you going on about how life should be more than economics anon (no one says it shouldnt, by the way), im just trying to figure out a more specific area of demoralization campaign to talk about combating, thats all.

>have you ever noticed that people never really act out of innocent impulse anymore?
can't say i have really. with regard to your experience at school i can only say that in life you will run into people like that with some regularity. often its easy enough to just ignore them and carry on anyway. not being affected by their negativity is very much down to how much we allow ourselves to be.

The revolution will not be televised.
But all people watch these goddamn days is just canned chatter!

Maybe we need to connect with people more.
I like what Alysha Liu's doing, and she's not really trying to farm engagement or anything

It's quite clear, then - you have control over yourself. If you let yourself get demoralized, it's beating you. If you don't, it isn't. It's quite ironic listening to you demoralizing yourself over others' "untreatable demoralization."

You yourself just need to live. We'll catch up, I promise - we are sovereign!

Go look at the stars.

>Go look at the stars.
good idea actually and probably a good way to diagnose the extent of your own state of mind: if you sit there and can only think of things like 'oh no, look at all the spacex satellites ruining the sky' 'waah i'll never be able to go to the moon' or 'the government is spying on me right now!' then the problem really isn't other people making you demoralized

NTA or OP, but this is what I see. So many threads start with some version of "everyone knows this depressing fact" and if you question or ask for any sort of evidence you get brigaded with attacks of being a shill.
Here on /x/ suspicion of authoritative demands has become a complete fear of anyone thinking critically.
