I constantly wrestle with it, what is the point of this world. We live in a world where it seems the only way to live is to consume other life. Is this really how the Abrahamic God would have structured the world? Are the Gnostics correct? Or the Buddhists? Did this all happen by chance? I simply have a hard time looking at how every single thing that's alive is in some fashion only about to keep living by taking life from another (actively or passively) and see this as a desirable state of reality. I want to know what other people make of this, because I'm struggling right now
